Safeway, Kihei HI

I've shopped at Safeway Kihei for years with mostly good experiences. However, I simply don't understand how the dairy department can be so bad, having to climb up to reach in and get milk or cream, 4 out of 5 visits to get whipping cream by the quart and all they have is the $9 kind, yogurt is hit or miss. The other thing is that shopping baskets are frequently hard to find, and dirty. But really, get a dairy manager who can do inventory!

Kihei Safeway has the largest selection of produce, food and drinks. There is always higher number of sale items, great flower shop and fresh bakery. Check out sometimes on evening could be long, but during day it's pretty smooth and fast.

Lot of sale items especially with the coupons. Close to home w h en U need last minute things.

Find everything, price are higher than continent, so ask cashier for your free member club card, we saved about $5 for $30 (average, depend of what you buy)

Very clean store. Ruby our cashier was very professional, extremely friendly. All stores should have employees as friendly as Ruby.

It's a regular higher-end grocery store that will be familiar. There is little local produce. There is a little more other local item. We got what we needed there.

This store is best. Everything I want and need from a grocery store. Fresh baked everything and meat and fish for any recipe. Great staff.

Very nice grocery store! Went here for food for our vacation and they had everything we needed.

Great selection of products but the store is always overcrowded and there is never anyone around when you need help with high items.

What can I say? Safeways employees have always shown me such Great Aloha. Anthony always gives everyone No Ka Oi service! Mahalo to everyone there
