I love to cook and am rarely impressed when eating out but Sam's Ocean View restaurant blew me away! The setting, the service and the food were out of this world. Everything was so fresh, such great flavor and cooked to perfection. The dessert was very, very good. Thank you for a wonderful evening and wonderful memories!
Absolutely the BEST restaurant we have visited on Kauai. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about food allergies. There is Ocean View from every seat!

Delicious first dinner on the island. Mahi mahi fish and chips for me, food was excellent and service was fast and friendly. The coconut mai tai was super strong but tasted really good. Really nice view from the deck overlooking the ocean, and the breeze kept things cool.
The setting for overlooking the beach is very nice. The food is good if one considers Kauai standard. On main land on either coast it would be probably three star average but overall it is worth to be have a nice dinner before sunset.
Super friendly, great service! Water was kept full, drinks were cold. On our way out I’m pretty sure like 12 people told us thanks for coming so it was a great experience.
