Used to be one of the premier truckstops in the Midwest rivaled by I 80.
But since the POS pilot took it over I am not surprised. Floors are dirty, laundry room is filthy, most machines are out of order. It smells and the people who work there are very much untrained.
I am disappointed that so many utilize this piss poor establishment since the company that's owns the flying j and pilot removed the flag so they didnt offend the musilm drivers. Just like the new age driver idiots in the industry it has sold out the AMERICAN TRUCKER.
Denny's has really gone DOWN HILL! If you can get employees OFF BREAK, you might get a table, order, and or be able to pay.
No one around for ANY if the above. SEVERAL customers seated themselves: - (
This was a nice place with reasonably clean facilities. They have a diner, arcade, large store, restrooms and other amenities that come in handy while traveling. The parking lot was spacious with a separate section for trucks. The store manager didn't seem to pleased about me taking photos though. I don't know why though, there is nothing to hide.
