Hilton Garden Inn Ames

Our family had a great stay. Staff is very friendly and the rooms have an innovative design with charging stations with USB ports on desk and nightstand. It has adequate wireless Internet, TV, fridge, hairdryer, etc. It was easy to get in and out. The room was very clean. They have a good breakfast, but it is not included in the room price. We have kids attending Iowa State and we live out of state. We plan to stay here in the future.

Accomodations were good. Complimentary WiFi is fast enough for work use. The newly renovated 3rd floor rooms looks good, but the doors at my particular room weren't installed properly and were hard to open and close, a bit of an oversight. Beds were very comfortable. I expected more variety of the breakfast since it's not included, but it was delicious. Overall, I'd come back because of the courteous and very helpful staff who went out of their way for me more than once.

Second time staying. Staff is friendly, food is good, and rooms are nice. What more could you ask for?

What a wonderful place to stay! The staff are amazing! Professional while making you feel at home. The front desk staff (Tina and a young gentleman) were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We will be staying here again. Thank you!

Rooms are spotless, roomy and quiet.

The service was great. When I arrived it was just about midnight, and rather than ask for my ID and credit card she just asked for my home zip code. She said I know that you've been traveling and you're tired I'm trying to get you into your room as quickly as I can period was great service and I appreciate it

We had over 50 people staying in various rooms for our daughter's wedding. We loved everything about this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The employees were kind, courteous, helpful and personable. Liz and Nick at the front desk, Chris on the phone, the great people at breakfast the next morning, were all well trained and nice! Thank you Hilton Garden Inn for being part of our great weekend!

They are very accommodating. Always treat us very well when we stay there. Some of the best staff around.

Hotel is orderly and clean, staff is friendly and welcoming and are all very helpful and willing to recommend places to eat. They tend to move around a lot but at least they aren't standing around!

Staff were friendly but the hotel is showing it's age. The hallways are narrow and dimly lit. The rooms are old and the desk chair in room 106 was so old that I almost fell backwards. It was clean but I felt it was not as good as other Hilton Gardens

Room was decent but air conditioning/heat unit had some glitches. Needs to be maintained a little better.

The hotel is showing it's age. I am not sure if there is a plan to do an upgrade at a future time, but it could help in retention of it's customers.

Very nice staff. The room was clean. However one of the lamps didn’t work and the door wouldn’t shut all the way unless you pulled it shut forcefully.

Hotel was really nice for the price. Pool was small but seemed well maintained and wasn't overly chlorinated. Room was clean and seemed new.
