Super 8 by Wyndham Clive/W Des Moines

Connie and staff are very nice. Even the cleaning wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel any time. Thank you again Connie for all your help.

It's a super 8 not a motel 6 and not the Sheraton but somewhere in between. They aren't trying to be a high end hotel and they're not trying to be a basement bargain hotel either and they hit the mark. Clean rooms, clean linens, decent television with cable. Go to a motel 6 for a night and you will gladly spend $40 more the next night for this place.

One thing I was not happy with is that there is only one guest laundry washing machine and one dryer for the whole hotel. Dryer cycle is one hour, but you really need two cycles, net result, with just one guy before you, starting washing at 9pm, you end drying past 1am. I use to go to an hotel of similar size that has 4 washing machines and 6 dryers, much more efficient (and 25 cents cheaper by the way!).

Totally surprised, what a nice place! Clean comfortable rooms, great continental breakfast, direct tv, exercise room.staff was very friendly, unbelievable pizza place close by sarpino's must eat there delivery to hotel w/late hours.

Clean, good beds, breakfast consisted of waffles, biscuit gravy, cereal yogurt. Good value for the price.

Shower wouldn't drain. Stayed there on business trip. They did get it fixed for my second night without having to change rooms.

It was a nice hotel for the price. My only complaint was the staff put cleaning first and their guests second. We waited for the front desk worker to finish vacuuming her area before she even greeted us.

Good clean rooms and very friendly place to stay when, we go to Des Moines. We stay their when we go to visit my son and his family. We just love it and so do my granddaughters when they stay up their with us. Awesome and Cool Place to stay.

Very clean and quiet! The staff is friendly and helpful. It runs like a well oiled machine. The breakfast is better than just the grab and go danish. Close to the interstate for easy access. Close to many attractions and shopping.

Nice Super 8. Clean. It has its flaws, lighting is kind of annoying as the switches didn't turn on lights. You had to walk to each light to turn them on. Otherwise bed was good, whirlpool tub worked like it was supposed to. Would recommend as a cheaper option.

Terrible Terrible Terrible! I vacationed from MN and I was asked to put down a refundable deposit. The next morning they claimed I never paid one and when I asked to speak to a manager called the owner who said he would show up in a few hours. He never came but tried to call the cops on me. Dont come here at all. If you do make sure u flash your cash openly at the counter or they will cheat you.

This is a really nice and Convenient super 8. Staff was extra nice & tried to find me something that was only available at another location, yet they really made an effort. Answered questions and liked things up. The room was very nice and clean. Several restaurants are within walking distance and a gas station/convenience store is as well. Recommend to those wanting a traveling stay. Not luxury.

Facility met our needs. Desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was good with biscuits & gravy as well as waffles. Microwave in breakfast room needs to be replaced. Bed linens for king bed were too narrow.

Frustrated at the fact credit card usage wasn't told before hand because my mother in law was purchasing the room for us but then they wouldn't charge it if the card wasn't there. Also the water in shower had to warm up wasn't hot or warm for like 5 minutes

This Super 8 has single-handedly changed my view of Super 8's! The room was spacious and updated, as well as clean. We got a suite that came with a couch, mini fridge and microwave that made our overnight stay with the small children pleasant!
