Tomaso's Pizza reviews
33 No doubt the best pizza in Cedar Rapids. They have won multiple awards. They serve Detroit Deep Dish, Chicago Deep Dish and New York Thin pizzas.
If you haven’t tried this place it’s a must. Reasonable prices and quality food. Gets pretty busy on the weekends but always worth it. Clean dining area as well with on site free parking.
I mean. I liked it. I'd eat it again if I were in town. Is it the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had? Not by a long shot. Also, their box. The quotes.some lady's family likes the sauce. Why is that the first quote? I don't really care too much for the sauce, honestly.
I must say that the prices are a little extravagant for my teenage lifestyle, but that does not mean that the prices are not justified! Yes the food is good, but the lavoratory is one of the cleanest and classiest I’ve ever seen at a pizza pie establishment such as this. Personally, I favor the wings over the pizza. > I have found they’re quite hard to obtain.
I worked here for 3 years during high school. Tom not only expected perfectionU, he demanded it. We had fun, but first and foremost was making amazing pizza.
No corners were cut and no expense was spared. If you don’t love Tomasso’s, you don’t love piZZA.
Fresh ingredients, flavorful homemade sauce and the service was fast and friendly. Requested extra cheese on the pizza and they put less cheese instead of more.
Just love it when Tomaso's delivers pizza to Midway Outdoor Equipment. It was a great afternoon pick up for the crew. And we didn't even have to pay for it. Thanks Guys.
Always good pizza at Tomaso's - consistent quality. They have thin, Chicago thick and Detroit thick, so there's something for everyone. Fast enough service, though they can get busy and backed up. Small comfortable seating area, which I like.
Best pizza anywhere! It even rivals Italian pizza. Does not taste like Milan our Venice pizza, but it is nearly that enjoyable. Well, maybe the whole experience of being in Italy eating pizza cannot be beat, no matter how good the pizza. But, you will not be disappointed at Tomaso's. Do yourself a favor and order the crispy crust Detroit deep dish.
Plenty of solid competition in the area but Tomaso's is hands down the best pizza in town and probably all of Iowa. I take the family at least twice a month. We like it fresh out of the oven so prefer to dine on location but it carries well when we want to stay in. Great local and craft beer on tap, too!
This is by far my favorite pizza place in town. Highly recommended trying the Detroit style crust which is a thick crust with a caramelized cheese edge and sauce toppings piled on top. Only down downside is that it is on the more expensive side for a pizza place (usually $25 - $30 for a large).
First coming here I didn't expect one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Their Detroit deep dish is to die for. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting. An all around great experience
I love the Detroit style crust, makes crust best part of pizza instead of worst, gives it a nice crispy texture with a bit of a burnt flavor (in a very good way, trust).
The price was horrible! The pizza was good, better than most, but at twice the price. Unfortunately won't be going back with prices that high.
