I had to run the water for 30 minutes in order to take a lukewarm shower, management did not to try to fix the problem, just a repeated "I'm sorry ".

Nice facility, great rooms, huge fun indoor
Waterpark with slides, kiddie pools splash pads and lazy river. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable.

Perfect for family holidays, the four-star Castle Rock Resort has its own water park and arcade, which are sure to keep your children entertained for days.

Besides its fun, family-oriented features, its rooms are clean and spacious; each comes with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom.

Location: The resort is just a couple of minutes’ drive from the strip and all the main tourist sights, theatres, shops and restaurants.

Alright.needles to say.me and my daughter have been here at least 3 times. We went last year, and the year before. And I haven't been able to come back due to financial issues. I give this hotel 5 stars because I've seen so many reviews on here complaining. And the last few times we been, we loved the water park. The staff was great. Our room was clean. And my daughter lives going here! So many people complain about needless stuff! Let the people do their jobs and if you don't like the hotel, there's plenty more out there! But when me and my daughter went we had so much fun! But overall the staff were excellent to us! And even hooked us up with wrist bands on my daughter's birthday! So all in all, great job wonderful staff! Don't let these people bully y'all!

This is going to be lengthy. We are so unhappy with our stay at castle rock this last August 2018. To start off the room keys wouldn’t work and the mantance guy had to come reprogram our door. Second, we went to the water park, the water was so cold and it’s so run down the water even looked dirty. Third, I came back to the room to shower and the shower head was spaying water at least that’s what I thought! Then my son took a shower and when he got out he said the ceiling was leaking water. I thought it was from the shower head not being connected correctly. I told my second son to get into the shower. I was getting our stuff cleaned up and all of a sudden I hear water dripping onto the chair that was in the room part and onto the floor. I looked up and there’s quite a bit of water dripping from the ceiling. I opened the door to the bathroom and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was about to fall in. Fourth, now it’s 10pm and we can’t stay in the room we had because it ended up being a water line that was busted. Our phone in our room didn’t work luckily a maintenance man was upstairs working on something and he called the front desk to let them know we were heading up to figure out what we could do because we could sleep in that room. Fifth, we went into the lobby and the lady working the front desk was absolutely the rudest person we’ve ever dealt with! We told her the issue and we asked for a refund and our card info back she said she couldn’t do that! So here we are stuck with no room for the night and no refund. Finally she said she would put us in the tower and wouldn’t charge us the extra $40 it would have cost us. We finally get into the new room and get the ready for bed. Sixth, this is probably the sickest part. I went to use the restroom and there is a cockroach. I was so grossed out! Oh and there wasn’t a manager there to help us either when we asked what time in the morning could we talk with she said maybe 9-10! Needless to say don’t waste your time or money on this dump and the receptionist was just a peach of a person. This place needs a overhaul and they need to have their workers go through a customer service class. I wish I didn’t even have to give it a 1 star.

Lack of professionalism is what this place is suffering from. The staff has no dress code and is allowed to wear anything which usually consists of T shirts with whatever on them and shorts. You cannot tell the staff from the guests. When we were in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet the lifeguard came in and hung out without a shirt on in the restaurant area which is unprofessional and unappetizing at best. The breakfast buffet is not worth the money, but convenient. The biscuits were really good but the eggs tasted old even when they were brought out fresh. The pancake machine was very convenient. They keep the milk behind the counter and they pour it for you, which is inconvenient and weird at best. The OJ is in small bottles. They also keep the plates for the breakfast buffet behind the counter and you have to ask for one every time you go back. Posted some photos of the restaurant area. It is not welcome mean, nor convenient, nor organized. This place needs new management and a cash infusion. The lobby does not resemble a normal hotel lobby that you would be used to seeing. The water park is nice for little ones and young teens. But the options are limited especially when the lazy river is closed like it was when we were here. A small part of the water park is outdoors. There are 2 water slides Enclosed in tubes and many small water slides for little ones. There is a waste of space in the water park area with too many tables and not enough water attractions.

Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The water park isn't much better smells strong of bleach and water is green. The lazy river was nasty and green. The first room they gave us had bed bugs crawling up the walls. They didn't offer our money back just another room the didn't even comp us any thing just apologized. I definently would not waste my money on this place. I'm surprised its not shut down needs to be.

One star for the location. Rooms are dirty otherwise. First thing I saw after entering the room is ' flies '. Carpet is also not good. They don't change the bed sheets daily. I will never come back, and will not recommend to others.
You have to pay around $6-7 for breakfast.
And around $12 for the water park, but it doesn't worth if you are anyway going to white water park.

I stayed at Castle Rock this past Saturday night. When I booked my room no where did it say I had to pay$12 extra for my 4yr old to use the pool. The manager was rude and claimed I was lying about not knowing I had to pay extra for the pool.
I'm from Branson, not a tourist and was only in town to sees my mom who is dying, not to go to a "waterpark", but my 4 yr old grandson wanted to play in the pool after a hard day.
No where did it state that they don't even have a pool, just what they call a water park.
I managed Branson hotline many years ago and am familiar with how to reserve a motel!
The room was tacky and old. I will never stay there again!
I checked out and went to a different Motel with a FREE indoor pool, where the staff was very nice, and the room was a better price, with beautiful new beds and furnishings.
Check reviews before you stay at Castle rock, it's not worth the money!
Also, my husband has cancer, a tracheotomy and a feeding tube in his stomach and I am totally disabled. We had to pay$12 for the baby to splash in the water and the land lovers pass to sit and watch is$5. Do not recommend ever!

Good water park. Rooms kinda basic. Our door knob for the bathroom door came off and our sink faucet knob fell off too. So some minor issues but overall good place for families.

Water park was lame. Some of the features were not working. Had to answer a bunch of questions just to get towels to dry off. My nine year old daughter asked me why the lazy river had a brown ring around it. My kids were all bored. Restaurant was literally just an overpriced snack bar. Stayed two nights and both nights had to call and ask for towels for our room. Took out my own trash both nights. Won't go back.

Super fun for the whole family! Indoors or outdoors! Two big waterslides one which you go down on a tube. You do have to be 4'2" to go down them but our 2 year old had fun on the five little slides in the pools! I recommend staying in the towers and ask ab the rooms with bunk beds! Everyone was happy with their own bed! This resort is also very close to all attractions!

Rooms are mediocre. Pools are not that great. Holes in walls, torn carpet, dirty walls. Front desk complained about other workers. Parking is awful. Only 4 handicap parking spaces for the whole hotel. A welcoming trash pile was piled high right at the front entrance. Probably won't be going back.

I found piss around the toilet (on the floor) and hair in my shower along with a used bar of soap. It was disgusting! Also the corner of our dresser was broke. This place is gross! My parents stayed on the 3rd floor and said they had a pleasant stay and a gentleman named kenan stocked up their supplies, and was very kind. (So thank you), but I wish whom ever was supposed to take care of our room would have completed the task.

The front desk lady was very rude and not very helpful. We booked on line and need to upgrade. Front desk has own pricing policy different then Expedia.
