Chicken N Pickle, North Kansas City MO

5 star food, 3 star entertainment.

I have yet to dislike anything I eat there, the food is always delicious. It had been a while since I've been up there for a non-tournament activity and was disappointed to find out they've removed the open play on courts 1 and 2, you now have to reserve and pay for time on any court.

Still it was a good time, just not as fun as it used to be with the stacked paddle open play and mingling with strangers. I'll continue coming back.

The food was delicious. The drinks not so much. I must have picked the wrong drink to get. Our waitress was very friendly but it is definitely a weird set up but such a fun place to be.lots to do.even if you don't play pickle ball.

The atmosphere is pretty neat. People playing games outside and a really lively feel. The food was average and the ordering system is confusing. You place orders at a counter and take the food to your table and then a server asks how you're doing and then expects a tip (I think?)

Nice little place. We went for a friends birthday. I didn’t get to look around much but what I saw looked like fun. I wasn’t able to stay long but I enjoyed the tea I got and the French Fries I stole from my friends plate ;). I will be going back when I have more time.

This place was great fun. From the "pickle ball" to the giant battleship game to giant tic-tac-toe. Definitely good for a work outing or to take the kids during the day. Food was really good too. I would recommend this place for the whole family. Also it was a very nice bar.

Fun place, not quite on the scale of a true brew pub, but a decent amount of food for the price. Seeing pickle ball more than made up for the limited menu. Expect a sandwich about the size of your face! We're going to come back for sure.

Beer is good, atmosphere is really nice with a lot of fun games. I highly recommend checking this place out. Their chicken is super tender. The only downside is that inside the restaurant could be very noisy

I cannot say enough great things about this place! It has become a family tradition to come here for an annual reunion. We have loved the food, the games and the staff! Pickle Ball is great for all ages and abilities! The food is fantastic, I even liked dishes that I don't typically eat or enjoy. The lawn games make you feel like you are hanging out in your backyard with your friends.

This is a really cool spot. They have Jenga blocks, sand bag games, pickleball, hula hoops, outdoor area with TV's, you name it. We went on a Tuesday night and it was raining initially but still super crowded! They had a special burger for the night, can't remember the name, but it had guacamole and bacon on it, it was seasoned well and juicy! We ordered two 1/2 Rotisserie chickens, the house seasoning and honey brew BBQ sauce was very tasty, but my white meat with the house seasoning was a little dry, the dark meat was better. Will definitely return!

So fun. Great staff and food. Pickle ball is easy to pick up. Love the yard games too - bags and washers.

Attended a large group event with a buffet of BBQ and fixins. Chicken and ribs were delicious! Spicy hot rub adds lots of flavor. Watch out for the cole slaw, it's hot, hot, hot!

Always good food and fun pickle ball courts. It was pretty crowded when we came here on a Monday night. Food quality is high but so are the prices. It’s worth the trip.

Great place. Food is good (nothing amazing), atmosphere is one of a kind.staff IS AWESOME! Party of 20+ easily handled by Deena. I'm pretty sure.without a single error over several hours and orders. Thank you all.

EN: What a great and entertaining place! I played for the first time Pickle-Ball (it´s not popular in Germany) and i had such a great time there. I love their concept, Sport, Food, Beer and entertainment.the whole environment looks awsome and the staff was really great. On our next KC visit, we will be back.

Unsere Familie lud uns auf eine Stunde Pickle-Ball ein, wovon wir zuvor weder gehört, noch gespielt hatten (tolles Spiel, keine Ahnung warum das in Deutschland nicht verbreitet ist). Da unsere Familienmitglieder immer bei Chicken N Pickle spielen, mußten wir uns ein Bild davon machen. Die Courts (Indoor & Outdoor) sind in einem perfekten Zustand. Das ganze Konzept geht auf - Sport, gutes Essen, Bier und Spaß in einer sehr gelungenen Umgebung. Absolut zu empfehlen - wir kommen wieder!

From the moment I drove up, this place was already seeming to go above and beyond my expectations. So easy to say my visit here was great. However, I couldn't finish my food so I got it to go, but was told before I walked out that I had to throw away my barely sipped, fresher than life, delicious Dr pepper.

Food and drink are great. Pickleball experience was unmemorable. Charged $18.99 for 2 people, 2 paddles and a ball for open play. Waited 40 minutes and no courts became open or were already reserved. No one is monitoring the courts. Not offered a refund.

Went here for the first time tonight with the wife. I got the Caeser salad with chicken and she got half a chicken. Both dishes were exceptional. The coffee is from Thou Mayest roasters and the tea from Hugo. They also feature local distilleries and breweries. 10/10

Activities are great. Food is good but expensive. Beer prices are pretty high and it's obvious you are paying for the social aspect of things. Great for a random outing

Very fun spot for summer fun with several patio activities. Have a great open tab system that transfers between several bars and a food ordering station.
