The employees here have a way of making Genesis a welcoming atmosphere. They are extremely helpful, giving me lots of advice. I feel very optimistic about my weight loss goals. I'm very happy about the overall improvement of my health, mentally and physically. Thank you.

I did competitive swimming throughout high school and when college rolled around I was burnt out. I stopped working out and kept eating the same so I gained a LOT of weight. I’ve tried losing weight throughout the years and would be successful for about a month or two then gain everything back. In June I decided it was time to finally admit I needed some help and get a trainer who could hold me accountable. I’ve been working with Maria Narron for about a month and a half and I’m down 14lbs! Before starting I was worried about judgement I may receive or not being able to complete the workouts provided. She has done a wonderful job creating workouts that challenge me at my level. She’s not afraid to push me and gives me the positive encouragement I need to get through each workout, even the ones I do on my own. I would highly recommend Maria Narron for anyone who is looking to get back into a regular exercise routine and a healthier life style.

Clean facility, many machines, but the machines are fairly crowded. The fly machine will hit people walking through the isle.

Wish I could give 0 stars! Pushy, pushy, pushy. I have already told them I am not interested and have opted out of text messages. Yet they still email me and call me practically daily. If I don't answer, they immediately call back. At this point it is harrassment! I have already blocked their number but somehow they are able to go around that and their calls still manage to go through. Would not recommend unless you are looking to be HARASSED. Worse than a car or jewelry salesperson!

A member here was wearing offensive clothing. I approached the manager Jason Marshall and asked if offensive clothing and he said ABSOLUTELY! That's all you need to know about this location. They don't care about their members.

Some unnamed person apparently gave my name and number to this gym as a referral, and despite me not ever answering their calls, they have been calling for about 2 years now. Y'all need to stop.

Locker rooms and shower room sometimes get ignored by staff for long stretches but the gym gear is pretty good.

I used to like working out there, but if you transfer and move out of state they will hit you with all kids of bull%$#^ fees and more monthly payments. Terrible way to treat customers who have belonged there for 7 years.

The manager Suzanne is a MORON! How does an out of shape old woman with no fitness experience become manager? She flopped at selling ADT alarm systems before being made 'manager' of this dump. The owner Rodney will hire anybody with a pulse to work here.felons and people with IQ's under 60 are encouraged to apply. The place is filthy too.

Been here for a few years now and love it! Amazing staff and very well maintained! I take some classes here as well and love them! I take my daughter to the kids club and they just adore her and she loves it every time!

The Liberty location is very clean and managed well. The personal trainer, Jordan, that I work with is very knowledgeable and makes my workouts fun. I have tried other locations that are more “convenient” for me and all of them pale in comparison.

Love this place! It's close to my home, has convenient hours, and I even got several free sessions with a trainer when I signed up. Clean gym, friendly staff, and childcare as well (the childcare is extra). I highly recommend this gym!

Friendly staff. Recently upgraded some equipment. Locker rooms at this location definitely need a refresh/ upgrade. Freeweight area tends to be crowded as a lot of equipment is squeezed into not a huge space.

How much say that I do appreciate that they renovated this location but I am still a little disappointed that it is not like in the original Genesis that I am accustomed to. The staff is nice and the equipment seemed pretty clean and due to the renovations I will definitely give it a 4 star rating

In my opinion it's expensive for what's offered. I belonged to LA Fitness in California. It was also very clean and It was only $30.00 a month. Besides the machine weights and free weights. You had access to a pool, sana, steamroom, basketball, racketball. And so much more at all thier locations. I feel for what they have to offer. The price could be a lot less.

The GM at this location tried to charge me for an extra month because he was upset I canceled my membership. Worst experience at a gym I’ve ever had. I won’t step foot into a Genesis gym ever again.

Can you at least explain how a General Manager of 6+ months on the job thinks there is a 60 day cancelation notice. It’s hard to believe. The fact that you are in charge of the staff is even more frightening.

I have been going here back when it was called Aspen, then Golds gym, and now Genesis. Awesome area and they are good with repairing equipment on a timely manner.

This place is a joke. Management is terrible. Was told you have to physically go in to cancel your account so my wife went in, cancelled her account and that was it. A year later our account was randomly activated. I notified Nathan the manager and he informed me it would be taken care of. After being charged two more months I called back and this is “how it works”. We are in California! Are you joking. How is our account active if we are in California and have not been to the gym in over a year. Then he tells me our account has been active he entire time when I know for a fact my wife went in and physically cancelled he account because they make it so inconvenient to do so. They had no record of the cancellation. Joke. Management is embezzling I’m sure. Activating inactive accounts hoping people just pay the 45$ and say screw it. Company should be investigated. Do not go here. Planet fitness is cheaper and way easier to work with. Don’t waste your time and money.

When I signed up the staff was great and helpful - now almost everyone that was employed there when I signed up is gone. When I asked for a fitness plan - the one they offer for FREE - I was informed that I had to complete all of my PT sessions. My PT transferred and I wasn't interested in completing one last session with someone who had no idea what we were doing. The equipment is filthy and hardly ever cleaned. I felt like I was promised so much more when I signed up and that $55 was a great deal with everything included but now I am seeing that this gym is completely overpriced for what they "offer. " They will also call your friends and family every week non-stop trying to get them to sign up. No doubt in my mind that I will be switching as soon as my contract is up.

A far.far.cry from the quality at other Genesis locations. They should establish a lower tier opposite of the gold and standard membership prices for this location.
