Best place I've ever been to eat hands down. Melissa Jean was our waitress and the service was perfect. You'll never meet someone as sweet as her.

Shakes were decent, people were great, food was not. Very low quality ingredients. So sad cuz the place is cool

Delicious, fun, and the singers are amazing. Its a bit loud but other than that definitely worth going.

Mel's is a pretty typical diner-style atmosphere. Has a lot of history there and lots of interesting things to look at on the walls while you're waiting. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. It's a lot of fun to have the waiters and waitresses singing. It felt like going to a dinner show while we ate. The food itself was just okay. Nothing great. Very typical diner food and none of us were super impressed by the food. But the overall experience was fun.

The concept of this place is a great one. The execution not so much. I went here with high hopes and the food could not be called anything but bland. The singers were good but they are peddling CD's from 20 years ago on the tables for 15 bucks a piece. This seems like where singers go end their careers. They were all great singers but the overall atmosphere here was depressing.

Awesome meal! Great food and our server has a great voice! If you are in Branson, count this as a must stop!

Thanks Cindi for the service, hope to see you on the trail with that great JK of yours and UCORA, United Christian Off Road Alliance. Good luck with your book too.

God Bless!

Food was great, if you don't mind a little heartburn. The singing servers are all very talented. I'd love to sit in on job interviews for this place

The food was good and our server was great! Enjoyed the singing servers. The only thing I had a problem with is the servers with long hair should tie their hair back. I watched one server delivering food with 3 or 4 plates, one plate resting on her to hold in place. She had hair over her shoulder in front of her almost touching the food on the plate. I almost lost my appetite as I was so thankful that she was not my server and we had a male server with short hair.

Good food, good service, unique twist with the singing servers who actually had some pretty good voices. My family loved it. One of our two best dining experiences for a week in Branson.

There is no indication on the website that all the waiter sung music is Christian based. With a name like "Hard luck diner", and Elvis themed foods, one would expect 50& 60's type music. I asked for a beer and waiter looked at me like I was from another planet.
If you like loud Christian music being sung close to you while eating a dried out hamburger, and no beer, this is the place for you.

Very nice 50's feel diner with wait staff that actually sings. They did tend toward gospel while we were there.
Food was good diner quality- burgers, fries, chicken fried steak. They did have some healthier choices, but it is a diner.
Excellent atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Branson is the best little town in Missouri and this diner rocks! All the servers sing while bringing around food and clearing plates and everyone is encouraged to join in. Food was surprisingly great and although the place was PACKED, the service was quick! Like the rest of Branson, you exit through a gift shop, but this one was reasonably priced and offered unique, hand made items.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant. Retro fitted to the 50's with wonderful service and good food. Each waiter or waitress has a song list that you may choose from and they will sing while you enjoy your time there. My husband had a burger, I had a Patty Melt, each came with great seasoned fries. If we are ever back in this area we will stop in again.
Thanks to the Staff for a wonderful eating experience.

Mediocre food, fun atmosphere with really cool singing wait staff, but the a/c was broke on the hottest day of the year!

If your visiting Branson you have to eat at the Singing Restaurant Mel's Diner. Best milkshakes around. Food and enjoy the oldies being sung to all.
