Mel's Hard Luck Diner, Branson MO

Our family loves to eat here. The food is large portions, delicious, and the food servers sing to us while we eat! They all have CD's for sale and they sound wonderful. I highly recommend it.

It was the coolest place we walked in and the waiter was singing beautiful in perfect tune good food reminded me of Happy Days fifty show all the waiters an waitresses took turns singing and they all have their own CDs for sale definitely a must go too! Our server was Dana this is a must go to stop when in Branson!

OMG! Migrane inducing experience. People that can't sing, singing way too loud. Pushing thier cd's while you try to eat. Will never go there again.

Cute place. The kids had a blast. Food was amazing and good portions! The singing is so sweet and fun to listen to or sing along with!

So good and the singing waiters make it really fun to watch. My husband is still talking about the orange dreamsicle shake he had weeks ago. Soooo good

I've never heard of a place that had the waiters and waitresses sing while you were there for entertainment. Even as they were singing, the service was VERY fast and it overall created a really fun atmosphere.

Food was very large portions and the singing servers was entertaining! However, the place is a little run down and could use cleaner restrooms. But I would still highly recommend running in for a bite to eat.

Food and service was good and it seems like the staff has a good time. I guess we were expecting the performances to be a little more "Glee"-like with staff ensembles but it was cool to hear the staff sing individually. As with most everywhere in Branson, there is a bit of merchandise pushing ("Please buy my CD"). Recommend trying at least once.

This is one of our favorite Branson restaurants. The atmosphere is fun, the food is good, and there are many choices on the menu. Love the singers! This is a great restaurant for people of all ages.

I feel like the great reviews were for the entertainment, singing servers! The stars could not be for the food, because it was terrible. The hamburger was tasteless and the fries had a residue like they were cooked in old oil. We frequent Branson a lot and will not be returning to Mels. Don’t be fooled by all the stars.

Always a favorite to take our Grand-Daughter. She just turned 13 and that once again was her request. Such a wonderful family place. The staff is wonderful they all sing while you eat. Everyone is always smiling and glad to see you. We recommend to anyone looking for a great place to take family and/friends.

The wait staff sing to you when you go here. It's really amazing. The music is good, they take requests. This means you can be forced through some religious stuff, but if I can make it, so can you. The food was great, try the strawberry shake, it's amazing. I wouldn't get the burger again. It comes one way, hockey puck style. Aside from that, it was all great.

We wanted ice cream late one night on vacation. We rolled in literally 5 mins before they locked the door but was no problem. Our waitress Lisa was awesome. She gave us a recommendation for an enourmous (meaning myself and 2 teens could not finish it) brownie sundae that was awesome. And, she has a great singing voice to boot. Fun place, neat atmosphere. Glad we went.

The shakes are amazing and I would recommend the chocolate and the combo meal is a good deal pulse the fries are really good the food is not huge but fills you right up

Soooo much fun! Dinner and a show was an excellent choice for a great cheeseburger, grilled cheese, appetizers and of course SHAKES! We were treated to great live singing from the staff! Fun times and good food!

The staff is awesome! Even though they are up singing, we never waited long for anything! The food is good! It's Diner food. Don't go looking for anything extravagant. Although they do have some outlandish desserts!

My girlfriend and I love this place. It's awesome how the waiters/waitresses all sing here. I also liked their little gift shop they have. Definitely a delicious place to eat!
