The appointment was made through Samsung for warranty work on my washer. On Friday, I made an appointment for Tuesday from 8am-12pm. Monday morning at 8: 09am, they called and asked if I would be available for that day. I then got an email saying my original appointment was rescheduled for Monday from 8am-12pm. I waited the entire day at home for them, and they didn't show. Tried calling but was only on hold, and could never get through. Now at 4: 42pm I got a call saying they've rescheduled my appointment for Tuesday afternoon. They didn't ask if I am available (I am not), didn't confirm if this was okay, and again didn't answer when the automated call sent me to their office. This is very unprofessional and frustrating.

Tried making an appointment on-line. Never got a call back so I decided to call a few days later. Spoke with Rebecca on the phone who told me, “oh we are so behind. ” She ran through my options, $109 to have someone come out to take a look at my tv or $120 to diagnose that could be applied to the service if i decided to get the tv fixed. As I didn’t know what the options were to fix a 70 inch plus inch tv, I asked if tv’s can even be fixed.she abruptly said, “oh I don’t know. ” When asked the brand of tv, I said “Vizio” she said, “oh we can’t fix, can’t get parts. Goodbye. ” And that was the end of our conversation. Why not place more information on your website listing the makes of tv’s you repair and the costs for service costs and options? If you guys are so behind on web based service calls, why not remove that option until you guys are caught up?

I've used Mid America twice now. Both times Brandon has come out to service my in warranty Samsung range. His first visit, he calibrated the over to the correct temp and notified me to something that could be a factory defect. He opened the case with Samsung and they ultimately replaced it the range. I had them come out to calibrate the second one and its now working perfectly. I plan to use them for any future repairs I might need and will request Brandon to do the work!

The serviceman was so quick and thorough and knew I was in a hurry to leave town. I highly recommend Mid America as I have used them a few times before.

They are awful. Home Depot contracts my extended warranty service through them. Every time I set up an appointment through Home Depot, I am told Mid America will call me and tell me when they will be arriving, morning or afternoon service. I called recently and was told they would call to confirm the appointment request for 11/25/19. No call ever came, so I went to work. I get a call from the repairman who says he’s 5 min away. I tell him, I had no idea he was coming but I could be there in 30 min. He can’t wait that long because it will throw off his schedule. What? !? ! I have to clock out half a day but he can’t wait 30 min? Especially when he has no idea what sort of repair he’s going to have to make? He could be at my house for 2 hours. He says, I’ll call dispatch and they will call me to reschedule. Then, I get a call from Home Depot a few days later saying my repair was complete.wait, what? Nobody ever stepped foot in my house. I told the rep from Home Depot and she was kind enough to o call MA and said they will call you on Thursday (today) to confirm for Friday, AM or PM appointment. Welp, it’s 7: 31pm and guess what.no phone call. I have no idea if they’re coming tomorrow nor what time it might be. I should have suspected, because this happened LAST TIME. They said they showed up to my house, rang the doorbell and nobody was home. Except for one small detail. I was home (recovering from a kidney stone, so I wasn’t going anywhere) as was my wife taking care of me, I have a Ring doorbell and there is no video evidence that they showed up. I had to reschedule that one too. Stay tuned folks, we’ll see if the repair guy shows up tomorrow. Unannounced. Again.

Cannot say enough GREAT things about Justin! Initially they believed we needed to replace the motherboard on our dishwasher. When Justin came to install the part he went above and beyond, testing all possible reasons it may not be working. Turns out it wasn't the motherboard but a jammed float switch. Justin saved us a good amount of money on parts due to how thorough he was. Overall a great experience thanks to an awesome tech!

The length of time it took to replace a basic piece of my dryer was unacceptable. I can maybe accept a week between the first call to schedule a technician to come out, maybe. But a second week to order some ball bearings before they would even schedule a return visit, which was another week after that was bad. And then the repair failed, and it was yet another week before a second technician came out and actually fixed our dryer. A phone representative even told my wife that if we wanted faster service we should have asked to speak with a manager up front. Mid America Electronics & Appliance has lost my future business and that of my extended family in the St Louis area.

My dryer broke and I had an “afternoon” appointment scheduled four days from when I called. The service fee is only $80 or something, which is why I chose them. The company was great at scheduling, calling ahead, and coming within the window. The work was quick and quality and I have 90 days in case something happens. This may be standard, but I just think it’s crazy that 30 mins of work is charged as over $200 in labor and service. The excessive price is my only complaint, but again, that could be standard.

Have a 30 yr.old Maytag dryer (DE412) that needed a new motor. Parts ordering took longer than would have been ideal but I DO NOT fault them for not keeping legacy parts in stock - most folks would replace rather than repair a 30 yr.old dryer.
Labor rates are reasonable and on par with other appliance repair shops in the area.
Hope we won't need appliance repair any time soon, but if we do, we're calling Mid America.

This is the only place that will service LG a d Samsung. Excellent service but I wish they would come to Washington more than once a week. But definitely worth the wait!

Tech was very thorough and helpful. He explained what was wrong with the dishwasher and that parts were no longer available. He then looked up the model number of a new washer that would fit in the same space. That’s going beyond the normal!

Repairman came the house as schedule realize I needed a part for my Samsung refrigerator over $400 have to order the part came in just a few days I set up an appointment for a Tuesday waiting around waiting around nobody shows up I called they made the appointment for Wednesday the following day when I'm working so yesterday at Tuesday they came put the new part in woke up this morning found the refrigerator around 68 degrees call the company they weren't too concerned said they can make it between 12 and 5 today ask to speak to a supervisor they said one should be in about a half hour call back in an hour no supervisor on duty for today so I had to take off work waiting for them to show up between 12 and 5 not real pleased had to throw most of the stuff away in the refrigerator plus lose a day's pay

I had Jimmy come to my Loft apartment building on the landing to service our built in Miele coffee maker. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, had me back ontrack with additional information specific to my unit in just a few minutes.

Mid America Electronics and Appliance Service was great.they were prompted, called before they came so I could be sure to be there to open the house and Brandon was courteous, friendly and pleasant. He was quick with the whole process which was replacing/repairing our Ice maker in our refrigerator. I would recommend them for any repair needs

Mike was very professional and explained what was and what was not going on with my Samsung refrigerator. Although I chose not to repair it I felt I could make an informed decision about what to do thanks to Mike. Would recommend Mid America/Mike to others. Shirley C.
