The Big Biscuit, Independence MO

I will not be back at this location for awhile. My waiter saved me a tip. I could of walked out without paying my bill. After he served me my food I didn’t see him again.had to go to counter to get my ticket to pay bill after waiting a half hour.poor service.

If "big biscuit" is your name, you should dare to impress. Underwhelmed is kind. If I had wanted pre-made-frozen-shipped-thawed-cooked biscuits, I could have gone anywhere (I will in the future). Coat said biscuits. I refuse to call them big.in "gravy" (I like to think of it as gelatinous goo flavored with sausage pellets). SERIOUSLY, folks, save your money and go for fast food. The coffee was expensive and pitifully tasteless, I suggest you stop at a Starbucks or Scooters! The service was lackluster at best: seat, take order, deliver food, check on once, then drop check. My carafe had more personality. Did I mention it was expensive? Yep, I would pay $30 for a breakfast for two, if it really was from scratch! Don't be fooled they use pancake mix too! I am giving it two stars because I didn't get sick and the bathroom had hot water.

The food was so good and the portions were amazing! Service was perfect! We did think it was a little pricey.

You know when you pull up to a place, and there's a line out the door, that they must be doing something right. Our wait wasn't too bad it took us about 15 or 20 minutes to get a table. And the food and service was definitely worth the wait. The server instantly greeted our table with Waters that had that awesome ice in it. We took a minute to look over the menu since it was our first time there. I ended up getting a traditional breakfast "The Big Breakfast" it had bacon, sausage, potatoes, and eggs. It was soo good everything was cooked just to my liking

I got chicken fry stead dinner.that was not that good and the dinner came with green beans they were not good.services was not that good either.

I love this quaint dinner. It serves the best biscuits and gravy and the staff is always so friendly.

Well, if wasn't so loud,
like a Bar everything would have been just about Perfect. Lots of people like maybe not totally quiet, but low enough to hear themselves Think, while they eat.

Very homey with a lot of charm. Always very busy, tho - be prepared to wait a bit for a table. The food is always delicious, however, and worth the wait.

First time here. Great biscuits. I did have a burger and fries. And they were fantastic. I did get a biscuit with honey. Yummy. These biscuits were the non flakey kind. With come again.

I love this place! It is homey, the food is good the people are nice gets awfully crowded though so you better get there early. Whether you have biscuits and eggs, pancakes or Belgian waffle is good comfort food.

Excellent food, service and very reasonable prices! I'll definitely be returning with my husband the next time I go up that direction with him.

I love their food. So does my husband. Helpings they serve are huge. I always come home with a to go box

Before The Big Biscuit there was Mrs. A's and I went there weekly as a kid (long since demolished). The all grown up version is good too! If you want a good breakfast stop here for sure.

They represent good ol' fashion food and southern comfort. Their biscuits are as advertised, BIG! Biscuits and gravy are the best!

Loved this place, it was only my second time there. The second time we had a large group 15 or more and our waitress was great! Never became frustrated. The other staff made sure we had plenty of room they just made us feel very welcomed!

Big Biscuit and Independence is always the bomb who screams is good to and 1 over in Kansas is the bomb too great service good food what more could you ask for nothing once you're at The Big Biscuit don't want anything else try it? Let me know if you can.

Waitress was super attentive. Which that morning I needed the coffee! Good food. Cinnamon roll pancake big enough for me to steal some from my sister.

The best place for a great meal at a good, reasonable price. Along with awesome customer service this is a great place for breakfast or lunch.
