Walmart Auto Care Centers reviews
30Stopped by twice two days trying to get oil change, told they weren't doing them those days even though open. Had tried to call ahead to see if they were doing them second day using their number, but was left on ringing for four minutes with no answer.
This place is completely useless. They’re unprofessional. They had 6 guys standing around doing nothing. Evidently they were “waiting on appointments”. That weird because you only had 1 car. They’re lazy and didn’t want to work.
Very slow, not really worth the few dollars you'll be saving. They will tell you to come early around 7am and will not open until 7: 45. You're looking at 3 hours plus for tire replacement no matter what. About a half hour to an hour wait just to check in. Some of the staff are clueless when you ask them about something, but some of the staff are cool. I wouldn't reccomend unless you drop your car off and have someone pick you up then bring you back when your car is ready
Bought tires. Tires were not balanced properly. Was forced to wait another 3 hrs to have them rebalance the tires. Horrible service and awfull work. Go to Dobbs a block away (or a different walmart) and save your self time and frustrations. 8 hrs total to have the tires properly installed.
Walmart forgot to put me in the system so the installation got delayed a day, but they made it right and i am happy they did
So I walk into the Walmart automotive at maplewood location in stlouis missouri. To be told by three employees that was playing on there phones with no cars in bay. That there was no "tire guy" to patch my tire. Then ignore me and walk away horrible service.
When I asked for them to call other walmarts to see they laughed and ignored me.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was at the location from 1005am to 330pm for 4 tires and an oil change. No sense of organization or urgency AT ALL!
You need am appointment to change a tire. Seriously? There's two people just standing TF around. Never coming to this walmart for anything anymore.
Clear your schedule for the day and grab a Snickers from the candy section. You're going to be here awhile. Testing a battery shouldn't take that long?
I had to come in on short notice due to a flat & I was able to get things resolved in a few hours.
Most of the associates were friendly & very helpful. It was very busy so I'm sure the rude ones were just having a challenging time.
This location now has an appointment list for tire service; call ahead to make one & save yourself the inconvenience of waiting to be worked in.
You can also order the tires online & have them shipped to the store for pick up.
Cashier, Freddie was super nice and quickly explained the process as I was a little confused. John the technician was awesome. He quickly quoted me a very fair price and was so friendly the entire time. They had me in and out in less than an hour for a battery change. Will be back again!
I called to get a tire repaired or replaced and was told their next availability was 10 days out. Not very good customer service. Won't be going there for anything regarding my vehicle.
Worst Walmart auto in the history of Walmart auto. Turned away in the middle of a way with a flat tire because "they don't take walk ins. " all my tires are Walmart, and I have road hazard. That's some garbage.
Horrible horrible experience oil changes 2 to 3 hour wait and you can forget about getting tires you got to make appointment for days and weeks out so Save ur time and go to Autotire
Idiots cannot balance tires Idiots, Morons
Don't Use Them For Anything Automotive you
will be very sorry you did with hours of wasted time
and still have to take it somewhere else to get the job done RIGHT!
F-ing MORONS. ……….
I recommend avoiding this place if possible. The low prices and convenient location lured me in, but the poor customer service, ambiguous procedures, and evident dysfunction will keep me away for good.
Today I called and while waiting on someone to answer to have one of my tires plugged due to a nail, I was reading the poor reviews. After speaking to the young lady, I asked her do they render the work I needed. After she responded yes, she became a little indignant. I told her that was okay and the poor reviews were correct.
Worst customer service I’ve experienced my whole life. And not to mention the 3 1/2 hour wait just for an oil change. I would never recommend coming here for your automotive needs. I’ll be happy when they fire and replace the staff and get more efficient workers!
Despite the bad reviews I decided to call them to make an appointment to fix a damaged tire. They hung up on me twice. The third time I managed to talk to someone who was very rude. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Stay away.
Had new tires put on in Kansas, went on vacation to St. Louis had a flat a week after the new tires were put on only to be told that the tire guy is getting off in 10 minutes and he can't help us. Why is the auto center open 7am to 7pm but you can't staff someone. Smart thinking Walmart. Taking out business else where!
