16 Handles reviews
23This was by far the WORST Froyo I’ve ever had at 16 Handles, however I will say the customer service was good. My purchase was 2 smaller cups to go with toppings & it was $32.46. Is there Vodka in froyo now? My base flavor was Birthday cake and no a stripper did not pop out. What did pop out was a chalky, runny and totally non-creamy yogurt. I felt like a kid who was given a birthday cake made of vegetables, it was awful. The second base I got from my girlfriend was Dutch chocolate, was less chalky a little creamier, but not great by any means. In closing, after the tipping the staff three dollars because they were very helpful, I went home with a $36 bill for yogurt that should’ve been in the trash can. No Bueno!
Over priced, doesn’t taste good, dirty store, and you don’t get a lot of ice cream.
I’d recommend going to the upper East or upper west side for good ice cream. I personally like Anita Gelato! It’s the opposite of all the things I described about handels
Amazing service! The employee of the month, Taalib, was super welcoming! They have so much variety including oat milk flavors ice cream and sorbet. Pay this 16 handles on 8th a visit:)
Such amazing customer service. Gisselle was super sweet and welcoming. Mango and Nutella have to be my favorite flavors so far.
Came here to get the Valentines dole whip but they were out of the pink dole whip. Pretty disappointed so I got the Fashionista with regular dole whip instead. It's was okay but pricey at $12.95.
A dispenser broke when I tried to get some ice cream. The employees there could not get it to stop lolol. It was entertaining watching the ice cream pour out uncontrollably while they freaked out
But for real- check them out, it’s pretty tasty.
Great chocies but staff need to be motivated more to give better service. They were friendly but with a exhausted face.
Too pricey. Too crowded. They have only big cups to put the Frozen yogurt. You end up paying at least $10.00 for a cup. Should I call it rip-off?
I love it! It's soo good! I love the presentation of the macaron ice cream sandwiches! Have not tried the ice cream or drinks but when i went at 3oclock on a saturday it was packed! Well worth the wait! Cant wait to try other flavors.
Decent frozen yogurt place. Around 10 flavors total, but only 2 or 3 fruit flavors. The fruit toppings are not very fresh.
Ok just like orange leaf except loud music, lot of nerve having a tip jar when u make your own food
It was ok the vanilla yogurt was not working neither was the chocolate. It was pretty expensive.
Can't go wrong with frozen yogurt. I would like to have the toppings section and little more protected under a sneeze guard. But hey, I'm to fat schlub eating this stuff anyway.
Customer service is excellent from the door and delightful taste of 16 candles with yogurts! Great spot to take a good friend.
Not sure what the rave is about this place. We tried the red velvet ice cream sandwich, cookie and cupcakes. Also we added the blue berry cake. All extremely sweet. The frosting is rich and good but it didn't stand out compared to the sprinkles or any other fancier dessert shop. The place is on the small side with about 3-4 tables for you to enjoy the food and beverage there. Parking can be a pain to find since street parking has restricted hours.
I had no idea, but this is literally just a stand. There is no sit down place to chat and slowly eat your soft serve. The soft serve was good and tangy, and the honey tasted like.honey. I think I would crave it and want to go back if I lived in NY, but I wish there were more flavors. I didn't really like any of the flavors on the menu and tried a bunch of my friends before deciding on the matcha one which was pretty good. Instagram worthy (as are most eats nowadays) but melts fast especially in the outside heat with no AC/seating.
Great Location, great staff which Ashely and Diamond were great at serving the clients. Thhe Yougart is yummy and it tastes healthy. The facility is clean.
This place is so delicious! Whether you have a fixing for vanilla, caramel or honey, this is a great after dinner spot. The portions are small.this is more like an ice cream shack than a destination.but one bite in and you'll understand the hype.
This place is family-friendly and usually offers an array of delicious low-fat flavors. Although I am aware that frozen dessert is not "health food", it's still a better alternative (just choose your toppings wisely). Green Tea, Key Lime, Orange Popsicle, and Nutella are among my favorite flavors (yet seem rarely available).
Good basic yogurt shop. Pick your cup size, squirt different flavored goops into it, throw on too many toppings, weigh, pay and eat. Yogurts ain't bad, watch out for occasional runny ones. Brain freeze aficionados take note, very cold yogurt equals pain.
