32This place is the place to go if you are looking for cheap drinks and good food. The drinks are strong and the food is delicious. It does get really hectic after 7, so head out earlier to make sure you're not stuck on a line to get a table.
Cool comfortable place with friendly staff. Didn’t try any food but we got some gin and tonics with some free yet delicious edamame.
Drinks are really cheap for this area and still pretty strong. The happy hour menu is extensive. Bouncer and owner were both very sweet. Service was excellent. All the tables get a plate of edamame which is fun! Highly recommend, will definitely be back.
Cheap drinks what's more to say? Cocktails range from 4-6 dollars. It can get packed so try to make it early.
You're getting a deal's worth with this pricing. The drinks are inexpensive and quite strong, too. Food is tastes good, portions are kinda big on certain menu items. The only problem is that they need more servers during busy hours because it is so hard to get their attention when you want water or a box to wrap up, etc.
It gets crazy crowded after 7PM. All the university students in the area pass through to get drinks at affordable prices. When on a budget this is a great spot. Rowdy but alright.
Some of the cheapest drinks you'll find in the city! $4 cocktails. Food is good and also decently priced. The owner is the sweetest old lady, very hospitable! Gets crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
Don't expect much from this place. It's a good spot to get cheap drinks and food that will help you sober up. It's definitely a spot where all the NYU kids go. Get there early before 7 on popular nights because there can be a long line to get in and once that happens, then it's bit worth going there.
Still a fave when I want to get a cheap drink with friends.
Good food, great drinks, too bad their bouncer is HORRIBLE! Bouncer would not let me in because my ID was out of state and I had a different haircut then than I have now! Bouncer told me that I was "a liar", then called my friend "a racist". BYE.
Cheap drinks and decent food. Make sure not to go during peak hours or you'll end up waiting forever.
Just a friendly public awareness message: If you go out to eat at a restaurant and dont tip or lets say you leave $2 on a $50 bill, the person that waited on you has just paid for your dining experience. At most any restaurant the server has to tip out the busser, the hostess and the bar (if they have one) this is based on a percentage of their sales. So now your meal has caused that servers sales to go up in which they have to pay for. So if you dont tip accordingly they are paying for you to eat. Industry standard is 18-20% on the price of your food before deductions. Also, a server makes only $5.23 per hour so they are needing your tip in order to make money. Another good thing to keep in mind is the length of time you are there. A server only gets on average a 3-6 table section. If you sit for 2/3 hours or more at your table that server is not able to make money off that table and therefore your camping is actually causing the server to lose money. Please keep that in mind. Thank you.
