I was referred here for pediatric dermatology, I don’t think they’ve ever treated a child here ever. My two-year-old son was given medicine for his but that was way too strong I only received instructions to wash it off within an hour and they did not tell me what to expect after. Well the next morning he had open wounds and then next week he would cry every time I changed his diaper. Had I known I would never have a greed to this medicine. He was not even seen by a doctor but by a PA she spoke way too fast and did not give clear instructions I would caution any parent want to take a child here look elsewhere for a dermatologist who is specific to children only.

Dr. Applebaum has been my dermatologist for 6+ years now. There used to be a super long wait to see him, but for the past year visits have been super quick with little waiting time. The staff has always been helpful and Dr. Applebaum is a great doc and helps me manage my problematic skin. Be prepared for really quick visits! He's a really to-the-point person but will definitely answer any questions thoroughly if you ask. The only issue is that if you have medication refill/insurance problem, it can be hard to get ahold of the office on the phone asap but they usually call back a day or 2 later.

Dr. Byrne is amazing. My son is very figity and Dr Byrne has so much patience. The office staff are also wonderful.

Debbie was wonderful putting things together for my sister and myself. She had so much patience with us. Dr Taglienti made us feel so comfortable and he is a perfectionist. I will be bringing him my daughter who had unsuccessful surgery from Lexington Plastic surgery a few years ago.

I am completely horrified by the treatment that I received at this office. I made an emergency appointment because my hair started falling out after a chemical reaction. After waiting for over an hour, the doctor comes in doesn’t even tell me his name, pulled on my hair and said “oh you just have hair loss” HE DIDNT EVEN LET ME SPEAK! He didn’t listen to me at all he told me that this is natural. I attempted to show him pictures and he didn’t care. He also told me that nothing can be done and to take biotin pills. BIOTIN PILLS! Than he told me that maybe thinning runs in my family. Guys I’ve always had more than enough thick hair to donate. At the very end when i was walking out he says “If you’d like I’ll take a biopsy of your scalp”
I walked out. The receptionist asked if I wanted another appointment. I made it clear. JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF CAN COME DOWN AND I WOULDNT STEP FOOT BACK IN THIS PLACE!
They have ZERO bedside manners.

I went to this place back in high school around 2013 and they did nothing for my skin but bs I went there for 2 years and saw no results and not to mention waiting an hour and 30 minutes in the waiting room for every visit there. I finally decided to go to the Jordan Zuckerman Dermatology Center around 2016 in Bay Terrace and my skin significantly improved during my visits there within a 2-3 month span they made me regain confidence and self esteem.

Dr freedler is awful! Really ignorant! Never come here for a laser or cosmetic treatment. The doctor here did a treatment on my face for my acne scars on face, she decided me to Do laser fraxel and made me pay 400$. So what happens is that when i go the day of the treatment you he doctor is super busy and I had to wait 2 hours even with the appointment. So when she starts the treatment she didn’t even bother to clean my face and no extraction of comedones on my nose. So of course the laser wasn’t going to go deep at all. She didn’t know about this at all! Whatever, when she finishes her laser treatment which took like only 10 minutes she says ‘’oh your skin looks already better, are you happy? ‘’ and I was like ‘are u serious? ’ Because thats dead skin, when it comes off then u can the result, not right away! And that’s what happened after 10 days the dead skin came off and my skin was about the same. No improvement. But how can she be so ignorant as a Dermatolgist that says right after the treatment that ur skin is improved already? After the skin comes off then you can see ur result! Smh! No more! No for cosmetic treatments!

Front desk service is awful. I like the doctors here but the staff needs training on taking appointments and customer service. Upset the person who made my appointment scheduled it wrong Then the other is mad because my appointment should not have been scheduled as “Eczema” it should have been scheduled to be seen by a Dr? Ok so am I now going to change my name to EczemaAnd the worst part is it is now 12 pm and still haven’t been seen. People who came after me are leaving from 930am. Oh I was just given paper to fill out since I have to be “seen by the doctor”

I don't usually write reviews because most business perform as they are expected to. Having said that, I have to write about Advanced Dermatology's horrendous practice. Advanced Dermatology is easily the worst medical office I have visited. That is some statement considering I have been to clinics in some 3rd world countries.

I waited almost 2 hours beyond my appointment time. Why make appointments that you cannot keep? ! It's not like this is a new business operation.

This place was staffed by a nurse practitioner. NP's are whom you'll likely see. Not doctors.

Over the course of about 2 months, I left at least half a dozen messages, on answering machines and with human staff, inquiring whether I needed to make an appointment to review my blood work, or was it something could be discussed over the phone. Well, 4 months later, I have given up on Advanced Dermatology and on getting the diagnosis result.

Christina, the NP I saw and spoke to, as well as the entire staff at the front desk I interacted with just didn't care.

If you were looking for an establishment that has no respect for your time, does not care about your well being and feelings, and treat you as an afterthought, you have found it in Advanced Dermatology.

I Have visited this place before and I thought it was good therefore I came back for a visit I always go for the same reason I get dark spots on my face from the sun. This tine the Dr. Did a terrible job my black sports convertec in double the size they. I wish I could put pictures so you see what I'm talking about.

0 stars. ZERO. I made a 10 AM appointment on their website, got an email confirmation then when I called the day of my appointment just to be sure, I was told there is no appointment for me. Long story short I'm told to still for the time I had made online. I get there at 10, fill out all paperwork being a new patient and begin waiting. 11: 15 AM I am called to an exam room.an hour and 15 minutes later, but FALSE ALARM, I'm told there are no rooms available then sent back to the waiting area. 11: 45 I am called to an exam room again then when I ask when should I expect to see the doctor I'm told there are 2 patients ahead of me. I lost it at that point, now instead of being in the waiting area, I would be waiting in an exam room for God knows how long. I told the medical assistant I had to go, and without a care in the world she responds "ok. " If you want to keep your sanity don't come here. I wasted my time and energy for nothing.

The doctor performed a byosy of my skin, never call me for the results. I call several times, still waiting.
However Dr. Fox was very pleasant and professional. I think they just need better management

Always in rush and don’t listen to your problems, not great dermatologists, it seems like they have poor knowledge about skin problems

The doctors are great but the front staff are very disrespectful and lack any phone etiquette. Saneeda told me that they do not take emergency’s on Fridays. Only Monday-Thursday. Seems like Saneeda needs to get home early rather than help out patients that need help.

I’ve been coming to this dermatology office for over a year now. I had severe acne all over my face; very big red pumps that left dark brown scars all over. This definitely made me very self conscious but Dr Jie Chen worked her magic! She helped greatly and was always on top with things she needed to provide such as medications and ointments. Within about 3 months, my acne began to decline. And around 4 months after that my scars were treated. I rarely will get acne anymore based on the helpful products she’s provided. In addition, I do not scar at all! Would recommend to anyone going through difficulty in acne on any part of the body!

Suzanne doesn’t care about the patients! I found her very rude and more of a sales person. Her chemical peel was so ineffective and expensive and she got done with it in a minute and charged $300 for it. She also rolled her eyes to her nurse when i told her im not gonna get a $3k package today for my skin. Sigh! You don’t find people sincere to there profession anymore.

By far the nastiest attitude ridden service I've ever seen; in an office where you get paid for my visit. Horrible wait time on mid Tuesday was close to an hour while the actual check was 5 min usual. They gave a prescription and said "it's not going to work" "it's very temporary" "you should buy_ from us at the front desk" (for double the price it should be.). Got the vibe I'm there not to be helped but to bleed my pockets dry and when I said no to optional payment was just left there with a "that's it" to leave on my own.

Dr. Zheng is a great dermatologist he listens and he gives the best care when it comes down to your skin. Give him a try you will be pleased. I will definitely come back and see him.
And to the nice medical assistant thanks for reminding me about my phone.
