Been going there for keloid treatment. Been going slow, but injections are working! Dr Friedler told me from the very beginning what needed to be done and how often, and I have been following her instructions and am seeing results! I have told her about other issues and on my monthly visits, she always checks and asks about the other issues. Good followup!

I visited twice with Dr. Christina Smitley and her lovely assistant (I truly apologize for not being able.to recall her name) in the Fresh Meadows office. They were both personable and professional as well as very engaging during my accessment, treatments, and in answering any questions. Dr. Christina, though not familiar with my rare condition, recommended treatments that helped speed up my recovery and alleviate the uncomfortable side effects that my condition causes. Dr. Christina is geninuely empathetic and expressed sincere concern to help remedy my condition. Couple that with her expertise and knowledge is what other dermatologists I have seen in the past has lacked. I FINALLY found the best dermatologist for me! I want to add that her assistant was equally empathetic, compassionate, helpful and honestly just a wonderful person.
Lastly, I recommended Dr. Christina to a family member who was looking for a dermatologist. Everything I expressed in this review I said to them.

I enjoy going to Dr. Chen, she's very attentive and takes care of all of my needs. I highly recommend this office.

I tried really hard to be patient with this office because the P. A’s and doctors are great, but the staff just kills it. They’re rude. They have you on hold for 15-20 minutes and I’ve been hung up on 2-3 times after all that waiting, without a word too. When you leave messages for medical assistants they don’t call you back. I shouldn’t have to chase you down to get updates or send medications. It’s ridiculous. Won’t be going back.

My overall experience with the staff is great. Everyone is always helping and I'm always greeted with smiles. Dr. Smitley I must say is the best dermatologist I've ever had compared to others. She's knowledgeable and my experience with her is always pleasant. I've also seen a major difference in my face since I've been to her.
