Albany County Social Services Department

Terrible services. It's nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone here. I've been providing daycare services for OVER 4 months and still haven't been paid. If I owed Albany County money for 4 months I would be in jail! Drop the double standard and pay people on time!

We were treated unfairly and told that we can't be helped because my wife has only been in Albany for two weeks. Our worker Amanda. M told us we could receive help then told us the next day we can't be helped. I don't understand why would someone would be turned away when we pay taxes for services we can't receive. We are filing a complaint against the agancey.

Nasty, Rude, Discrimination, will not help you if you are homeless and need any kind of Assistance and you have kids and coming from out of town. BEWARE of case worker. Amanda M she is very nasty rude had my information and she still have you bring more information just to try and keep you from getting Assistance. BEWARE. THEY HURT YOU MORE THEN THEY HELP YOU.

This is the worst place the rating should be 0 but goole has it setup to have a lease 1 star workers are not here to help you there rude and very unhelpful Out of towners Stay far far way they will give you the run around even if you are homeless It better to die on the streets before this place will help you Its Like walking in to Jail on your own free will
