Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District reviews
24Front desk is so slow and rude. Waited 1 hour to check in. They keep looking at the computer for obviously nothing and keep dragging in the checkin time. The hotel is sloppy and old. See trash everywhere. So many better options nearby.
Hotel overbooked myself and four other reservations, sent with heavy bags to another lesser hotel. This is normal policy. Avoid this location.
Friendly customer service, definitely would stay here again, easy to get to, and there is a parking garage right underneath them!
I requested to change first room due to the smell of marijuana and cigarette’s. 2nd room smells like moldy rug, there’s dried toothpaste splatter on the sliding door, sliding door handle is broken, counters weren’t clean, shower floor is disgusting. Nothing I expected from looking online. Entirely upset and have a long stay. The front entrance lobby looks like the “back of the house. ”
Met a buddy here due to it's location and familiarity with the property. Looks nice externally. Will consider staying during upcoming visits.
This hotel is in a great location for access to multiple subway lines, 9/11 memorial, and the financial district. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms are typical NYC small, but the bed is comfy and the room has the amenities I need. WiFi is excellent.
This was a clean and quiet hotel. They have a little cozy club in the back of the lobby. A nice place to have a few drinks and mingle. My room was extra clean and the climate control gets very cold. The bed was very firm and comfortable. Didn't really have a nice view but all the other amenities made up for it. I will definitely come back to this hotel!
Nice boutique hotel in Manhattan's Financial District. Rooms are small, but modernly decorated and well furnished. Front desk staff is friendly and professional. Great location, one block from the new Fulton Street transit hub. Walkable to South Street Seaport, World Trade Center site, Chinatown and Little Italy.
Comfortable. Clean and affordable. I came in really late and the team at aloft could not have been more welcoming. Great for a quick trip!
A very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. I also like that the hotel has a lot of places to eat near it
I would not recommend a stay here. Unfortunately, I had a number of issues with inaccurate charges and poor customer service - being moved from person to person over many calls to try and correct those inaccuracies. I'm normally a fan of the aloft, but this location was really a disappointment.
I dropped off someone's meal and they gave me ice for my coffee. They didnt have to but they did. That was cool. The inside looks more like a fitness center than a hotel imho
We walked in and I felt like I was in a TRON movie, Daft punk was blasting, pretty cool introduction. Small rooms, but not much expected for NYC. Cool concept. Right next to the WTC.
Extremely nice hotel, in FiDi District. 5 minute walk to Pace University. I stayed there while moving my child into their dorms. Short walk or Uber ride to One World Trade Center and Oculus Mall.
Comfortable room, nice space. Great staff, very friendly. Nice location, good restaurants nearby!
A youthful hotel with extremely friendly service. The rooms are clean, the furnishing is new. It was our first time in the US and we didnt have a power plug adapter yet. I asked the lady at the front desk where i could buy an adapter and she just handed me a spare one over that lay in one of the drawers of her desk. She told us we can keep it. We had a wonderful time in new york.
Pillows are terrible, room was hot even though maintenance supposedly fixed the ac, shower smelled of mildew.
I was in NYC for a film shoot in City Hall Park, and we had some space reserved at Aloft for downtime. The staff was great, accommodating, and friendly. The room was nice, and the location was great for all things financial district. And the World Trade Center is literally a minute walk away.
The front desk staff is a little inattentive, and the service to check in was slow. The room is nice and clean. Good location.
