Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District, New York NY

The service from the front desk was great- everyone was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice.

Great place to stay in Manhattan, within walking distance of the ferry for the Statue of Liberty

Overpriced, really adequate for young couples or groups to come drink and party. We got marijuana smell in the middle of the night. Doors were slamming all night of people going in and out. We called about the smoke and someone came around checking but no follow up call. Some random person not dressed in uniform came to bring us towels we didn’t request.

The room was clean. The room was handicap accessible and we didn’t ask for that.

The Frontdesk personal were all very impersonal.

The room and the water in the shower was cold.

And we were excited about breakfast in bed and the butler service they had only took orders by text message and we never got confirmation so we called and they said system is down. Then when we finally place an order they barely have any breakfast food at 9am.

Not pleased with this place and won’t be staying there again.

The ac in the room keeps the room at 74 even though its 40 degrees outside. Ive asked the front desk about this and was told its working fine.the wine cooler also is hardly colder than room temp.the aloft in brooklyn was way better.

Was a 2 star. Moved it to a 3 star but afterthe comment i just read from the owner is a one star. The manager made contact with me and fixed a few issues i just wish it was corrected while on the visit. But since reading the reply from the owner ill never stay at an aloft again.i did use the controls on the fridge and it would not get colder because it was broken.also before you decide to be smart and and reply to a comment being a jerk contact me directly. I left out that the shower also smelled like mildew and mold maybe you can see if the button on your maid service works better than the one on the fridge
