Update: The LOUD and constant construction noise across the street has made working at home almost unbearable, & the rents keep going up. Love the people in the building, but it’s no longer worth the ever-increasing price, especially with few amenities & the current financial crisis in the city.

We moved in just a month or so ago and just love it. The people who work and live here are amazing. Darrell Donalds has been great to us since the moment we first walked through the door. He showed us our apartment, and he's helped me when I needed urgent care, and he's given us all sorts of information that we needed as new residents of the city. Thanks so much for all everyone does here!

As a resident of the Avalon, West Chelsea for four years now the staff have become extended family and in particular Gerald Die. I absolutely love coming home to his always positive energy.and contagious smile. His attention to detail and absolute outstanding professionalism make living here a joy and I love calling the Avalon my home.

The best apartment I’ve lived in! Entire staff is always helpful and are more than happy to help you with any problems you may have. The leasing office makes sure the whole process goes as smoothly as possible.

I cannot recommend living at Avalon highly enough. I have lived here for over 2 years and I absolutely love it. From the moment you walk through the front door, you are made to feel very much at home. The concierge team are amazing, they all work extremely hard and I am most grateful to all of them. Special mention for Gerald, Darrel and Kool. Gerald is the friendliest person on earth and always has a very warm welcome home for everyone walking through the door, I am amazed that he remembers when there is a package for me (there are a lot of people living in the building, this is impressive). He is really kind and could not be more helpful, I love our chit chats. Darrel is great too, he helped me a lot when i moved in, especially with some of my deliveries that were heavier than i expected them to be. Darrel makes time for a conversation, as well as Kool, who is usually on the desk at unsociable hours (and these conversations are sometimes not the most sensible on my part). Thank-you to the whole team, everyone I have ever dealt with at Avalon have been really friendly and inviting.

I've been living at AWC for a little over a month now and I already never want to leave. The staff is incredible (shoutout to Madison who is a DELIGHT!) and always makes you feel at home the second you walk in the door. Great amenities, great location, great vibe.

A great residential building with responsible staffs and it is always feel like home because people communicate each other. The cleaning staff Gino she is an amazing and she always at lobby in the morning and say good morning to everyone and I love her smile and the concierges are great and friendly, Gerald always say hi to us and remind us our package even we forgot about it and he has great memory about our daily story and Kool is one of concierge who always doing late night shift and I think no one can do that but he can and Darrel is awesome that I like to chat with him. They are the best team!

Great staff, always clean and quick to fix any problems. And let’s not forget Darryl is the very BEST!

I love everything about this place so far. Quality of apartments and ammenities is great, maintainance is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Having doormen is definitely a gamechanger; Darrell and Gerald are the most friendly and serviceable individuals I know!

Wanted to say a heartfelt thanks to William for helping me when my dog had a seizure not long ago. He reacted calmly and immediately started googling resources to help me take care of him. William takes care of so many people & inquiries & packages a day. I have to help him for always being so personal and caring, especially at this crazy time of year! Melanie

I stayed there with my wife during a renovation of our condo in Manhattan and we were pleasantly surprised on how well this place conducts business. The office staff are very professional and polite. The concierge during all shifts are very welcoming when you enter the lobby each day. The building is very clean! It's a non smoking building which makes the building even better.

I am entering my 2nd year at Avalon West Chelsea and I am loving it. Great neighborhood, wonderful door service, and excellent leasing team members. Special shout out to Sarah, Suzanne, and Courtney for being extremely responsive to my lease questions and for providing excellent tenant relations service. I highly recommend this High Rise.

Gerald Die is the most amazing guy! If I could rate above 5 stars I would. He is the friendliest and most helpful employee! He is an asset to your company!

A+ Staff (you won’t find better) Gerald, Sara, Courtney, Hector, Etc. They truely make you feel like you are home.

Unfortunately since I moved in (August 2018) construction under my apartment is driving me crazy and I can’t work from home. Hope things change soon.

Living in Avalon West Chelsea has been one of the best decisions I've made. Overall great experience and all the door men are especially helpful. Gerald for example has done a great job and has been very helpful.

Gerald has been amazing in assisting us in our rather complicated move in. He is always a friendly face with a great attitude and is quick to help in any way. In particular, Gerald helped us in a huge way when we arrived at 3 am after driving cross country with a loaded vehicle. We very much appreciate all the help, enthusiasm and wonderful attitude he had shown. Keep up the great work.

Lived here for a little over a year. Staff, tenants and amenities are all amazing. Leasing agents are great as well and made the lease/ moving process seamless. Especially Sarah Frey as she make a concerted effort to know the tenants and converse with them on a personal level - not to mention she is hilarious. Doormen are the best in the city hands down. Highly recommend making Avalon West Chelsea your first choice when apartment hunting in NY.
