Bella's Ices & Ice Cream reviews
14Seems like they changed ownership with new business name. Same taste! The reason I’m writing a review is not just because of the old Pesso’s ice cream. I got a help from Jasmine and she was super friendly! Believe her employer should know how she tried to sell ice creams hard and professionally. It was very impressive to me. Any small business owner looking for a excellent employee can come over and see how she cares her customers while eating Mint chips.lol
There was only a couple ordering and 4 staff who stood around ignoring my family. The staff needs training in customer service. I fear how it will be when summer comes around.
Sour apple ices was great! First time here. My fiancée thought it be fun on a nice summer day.
What did they do?
Took a reputation and ruined it
The menu for gelato is confusing but don’t fret it isn’t gelato
Same as ice cream and was blah
I ate half
They closed the inside. Probably Covid crazy
Few outside seats
Dear new owners if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
We are done
Wake up new owners
Delicious ice and gelato. Apparently for gelato they have ingredients from Italy. Not too sweet and creamy. We loved coffee and roasted marshmallows flavor
Kids say it's good but not worth the price. They suggested buying supermarket ices going forward.
Good ice cream, wish it was 5% less sweet. Take out only ;- (
I think it's time to open up!
So going there on a hot or cold day is not gonna work. Outside tables only. No sink, no restroom.
Should have $$$ for price.
One Scoop $5.00
Two Scoops $8.00
Then my son hit the problem on the head. Rainbow Ice did not have distinctive flavors for each color of ice. Usually Red is cherry, white is lemon and blue is blue. But this rainbow was one flavor no matter if you ate one color at a time or all mixed up.
Bella’s is mo money AND mo problems.
The prices are too expensive $5 for one scoop and $14 for a pint. This is ridiculous. They are not even that good. Save your money.
My son loved the roasted marshmallow ice cream. He said it was a golden marshmallow, just perfect.
I was a customer at Pesso's for years.
I have had gelato all over the world! It used to be fantastic. But the new owners have more limited flavors and flavors are water down. Gelato has a richer taste. But the new owners water it down somehow. It is not even the best in the neighborhood any more. Much less best of the borough like it used to be. Maybe townies don't know the difference but aficionados like myself do!
Me and my son's favorite place. Go here regularly during the season. Cannoli Gelato is amazing. Friendly staff. Always a great experience.
A neighborhood standard place for great Italian ices freshly made in house. Fast forward to Spring 2022 Still a wonderfully spot, it's gotten expensive. $5 bucks for a single scoop.
Family was craving Italian gelato today so I decided to take a ride to Bella’s. Wanted to buy three pints so the college girls behind the counter (they were great) let me sample some. The gelato tasted good (was I in Rome?) and I decided to buy almond, pistachio and cannoli. Had no change and a $50 bill and evidently they don’t take anything over a $20. I like to pay in cash. One of the girls spoke to the owner and he was kind enough to accept my $50 bill. Happily rode home with gelato for the family.
