Blick Art Materials, Brooklyn NY

Went here to get some paint supplies for a project. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me get exactly what I needed!

Love this company- range of products, level of expertise from children to professionals. Staff is so helpful, without breathing down your neck!

This store is run by Pratt students, it's basically just a student union, it's not a proper store, so unless you know exactly what you're looking for, don't go in here. Because if you Don't know exactly what you're looking for, you're going to end up asking the staff. And if you end up asking the staff, you're going to find that there is no staff but just a bunch of students dressed as staff, and not only will they not be able to help, but you will be suddenly caught in the nightmare scenario of having to speak to someone under the age of 30, and not just anyone under the age of 30 but an art student. And of a particular nature: Pratt's tuition is very slightly higher than that of NYU, so you can imagine the caliber of kid you're going to be dealing with.

Very respectful and helpful staff. Store is clean and no drama. Staff know their inventory for sure.

They did not have much of a selection of background paper for photography even though their website does

Blick is always great, employees never mind helping and I always have a positive experience except when I drive to them! Haha blick please put your store in areas with parking!

I dont give anyone five stars but today I must say I walked in and the service was attentive friendly and knowledgeable first store in Brooklyn to get great service from everyone who was working in the store!

Blick is really great. The employees are very helpful. One time though I was there when the "boss" was in and I just didn't care how she treated her employees. Otherwise I'm completely satisfied

I only came here for a bulldog clip, but I was extremely happy with my experience. The employees are extremely nice and helpful (they directed me to my item because I couldn't find it at first) and the store is clean and simply LOADED with incredible supplies! If I had another art supply need, I'd definitely come back!

I LOVE this place! Aimed at the professional artist/art student. Equipment/products for airbrushing, painting, drawing creating for conceptual art.interesting items for gifts as well. I buy something from there every time I visit NY.

Everyone is amazing there. Thumbs up to Tamara and staff. They love my lil pup Momo. So for that i love them. Lol

The employees were very helpful. As soon as I walked in the worker, she helped me find all the supplies that I need for my class. The cashier was very nice.

Love this store, they have everything i need for my kid "extra hard find" for middle school.prices are a lil bit high thats ok thats when the membership comes in "Discounts". Overall ill be back again and again. And they are super nice ESP the lady behind the counter.

Awesome customer service. I swear every single employee offered assistance or checked on me at some point during my visit. And check out was super speedy.

Comfortable temperature inside, friendly service, everything is clean and well organized. Overall seemingly well run place.

If you are into art and design or Pratt student, here will be your one of love and hate place. You will love pratt student discount, but they are still expensive. Staff are kind and nice but it is impossible to find perfect thing you are looking for.

Their customer service is beyond terrible. It’s more like a gift shop for artist. You can’t even find anything you need there. They’re always out of stock. Their employees barely know anything about any kind of merchandise they sell. Sucks!

Its heaven for artist.the workers are really nice and helpful. They ask for your help and gladly guide you to what you need or gives alternatives when needed.

This place had everything I was looking for and more. I'm a beginner sketcher and found everything I needed. I even got a discount for being a college student so that's a plus for me! All the staff at the counter were very nice and patient as well.

Good Dick Blick! Not huge, not small. Just perfect. They have all the essentials for art classes and professional artists.
