Blick Art Materials reviews
31Customer service is thumbs down. Staff young, selish and not helpfull, they were concern about their personal conversations. Than assisting the customers. The staff were not knowledgeable of stock in the store.
Awesome, friendly staff! Good selection, although they are busy and sold out of some stock likely at most times. Supplies are understandably expensive, but sale prices are fantastic. A great store for every artist and crafter
Everything you'd expect from Blick. If you like the company, you'll like the store. The employees manned the door at closing, but still let people in 5 minutes before end of day. Excellent customer service around that time. Not sure where something is? They'd be happy to show you.
Just take all my money already lol.great to have in the neighborhood, super helpful staff, but if you can spare the shipping time you can do better price wise online.
BLICK has a good selection of art supplies but is overpriced on many items due to the fact that it's conveniently located near Pratt Institute. They do give a 10% discount to Pratt students and often have coupons that can be found on their website.
We don't have a choice anymore since this is the only art supply store in the neighborhood and because Dick Blick bought Utrecht. Reasonably-priced art supplies. Overpriced hardware (never buy lighting supplies here). Friendly and helpful staff. I have no complaints against DICK BLICK MONOPOLY.
If you're anything like me, you would also enjoy to wander around in this store and appreciate the way the colours are displayed on the racks. It's a one stop shop for all your arty needs. Pretty much everything you'll need under one roof. The quality of the products also look convincing. They offer memberships too which can get you 10% discount on purchases.
Pretty good selection and prices aren't horrible. They do give a Pratt discount if you're a student. Pretty much what you'd expect from a chain art store.
Ordinary, a little out of the way, and the prices are nothing to brag about, but it's always well stocked.
Huge location with helpful staff. Lots of art supplies as well as fun artsy gifts (stickers, notebooks, etc).
It's Big Art, but its sure is convenient. They have the biggest selection in a two-mile radius. Granted, Apple Art is still more personal, but Blick does have some extended offerings. Don't go looking for sculpture supplies here though, head the the Compleat Sculptor. Also, for an "art" store, there is an oppressive collection of gift shop crap cluttering the checkout area.
