Budget Car Rental, Queens NY

Need a better system for returning cars…customers returning cars should never have to wait in line with customers waiting to pick up their cars.

Had reserved a car thru T-Mobile app and when I went in they say I didn't reserve anything. Then I was willing to pay full price and they don't accept Canada credit card.bad service at this car rental

Car and service was exceptional.original van from LGA to Budget was basic white van with white marker stating 'Budget Rental Cars' on a few windows.and a sign on the dash.this was a big disconcerting to enter, however others followed suit and the driver was delightful. The van delivering from Budget to the Airport was what was to be expected from a shuttle van. Car was clean and in good working order with excellent gas mileage (Nissan Altima).

Rude check in staff rude guy sitting in booth checking out! Great Spanish guy completing the return car. In addition could not modify return time couldn't do it online couldn't do it thru 800 reservations had to call lga desk they never picked up the call center picked up and couldn't modify the time I had travel 1 hour out of my way to go to Manchester NH Airport desk to modify the time

This car rental place has all the various types of cars that you can choose from if you're a Fast Break account holder. It offers shuttle service from and to La Guardia Airport and the customer service is great. Make sure you have a car rental reservation before-hand so it makes it easier to get processed and ride out in your vehicle.

Nightmare picking up my car. Airport shuttle drops you off in a remote parking lot. Then waited in the wind and cold for 20 minutes for the rental car shuttle to pick us up. THE most asinine airport rental car setup I have ever seen. The shuttle driver says he gets 15-20 complaints a day from angry customers. Despicable!

Very poor service. One rep for 20 people.
The price stated was different from what was said online. Once the payment was made it took another 30 mins to get the car. They tire you out waiting and then make you pay for it.

Very very bad customer service. They dont pick up phone. They dont pick up phone at all! Two days i called atleast 10 times. They dont pickup. I wanted to talk to them to extend my car. Like i said i called them atleast 10 times. I wanted to talk to the local agent. Very rude and unprofessional also. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

No wifi, no restroom. If you come right here from airport after a long flight; you are probably screwed. The car was not clean. Prices are high compared to Hertz and Payless.

The worst customer service I ever seen. There’s a big bold guy who just picked a customer out of the line and I’m in front of him. I rent here every month. Never coming back here again.

My flight was 9 hours late in arriving at LGA due to weather delays. Passengers on the plane missed connecting flights and found themselves unable to secure rental cars due to high demand driven by flight cancellations. However, Budget held my car reservation and I was able to rent the car without any delay or difficulty. The vehicle was in fine condition and I had a trouble-free rental and driving experience.

Be careful of the Rental Car Return signs at NY LaGuardia. Not that it's Budget's fault that there is so much work going on at LGA they'd probably have to update signs on a weekly basis, but they should give clear directions for locations outside of the airport.

Did not have SUV I paid for and tried to put me in a minivan or a tiny SUV when I paid for full size. Couldn't refund my money or do anything. I always rent from Budget but will never rent from this Budget ever again

Very bad customer service. We came to leave the car nobody was there to check the car or to even ask where to go to leave the keys and check that everything was fine. After I figure out by myself where to go I ask to a lady to the front desk what to do and she barely respond me and I waited more than 30 min in line when I had to catch a flight. Then they charged me 80$ because I returned the car a late! Never again! Never had any problem with other car rental companies!

Location (Laguardia Airport) was very busy, I commend the staff for there patience and professionalism with the customers

If I can give 0 star for this place, I would do that. The service is super slow (even slower than the DMV). The employee is not friendly. If you have to pay couple more bucks for other brand, go to the other one. Don’t even waste your time here. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Took forever to checkout; long line inside to get the car, then had to wait to leave the parking lot since the attendant preferred to release three cars at once, rather than one at a time as we were ready individually.

Consistently a long line. Service is fine, just plan to get here early if you want to get on the road on time.

Kerrian is the worst. She took our Budget bucks certificate but failed to apply to our rental. We noticed it when we returned the car to a different location. They couldn’t reapply the certificate as it was no longer in our possession. Beware when you deal with the counter reps

I could buy a car faster than this location can bring my rental car to me. However, I would be interested in working here because the employees are driving the rental cars around like the Indy 500.
