Bunna Cafe reviews
22I love this place! It has a very relaxing environment, staff is very friendly and nice and the food is amazing! I went there for brunch and I ordered a Special Ful which is a combination of chickpeas and beans with cashew sauce and a side of kita bread. The dish was amazingly good and full of flavor and the size of the meal is very decent. They have very good cocktails, I liked their sangria and their passion fruit drink (Melkam maracuja) was amazing. Their coffee is very strong and tastes very good.
This is one of the first places I went to when I moved into my neighborhood, and I always enjoy going back with friends. Bunna is an Ethiopian restaurant that is all vegan. This may sound like a weird combination, but apparently there is a lot of vegan Ethiopian recipes due to a religious holiday (sorry, I don't know which one). I recommend getting their Feasts, which will offer a range of dishes on injera, and are HUGE. I recommend getting a smaller sized feast than what the menu recommends for your party.e. G. Don't get the Feast for Two unless you are THREE people. I dislike the vegan White Russian drink (doesn't work well with a milk substitute), but love the Ethiopian honey wine. The service is friendly, and they run a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony most nights.
