Bureau of Vital Statistics worth street, New York NY

I visited this office today. I arrived at 9 am and the entire process took about 40 minutes. The longest wait was waiting to use the kiosk. Staff was professional and courteous. Thank you all for exceptionally efficient service.

The people are so racist behind the counter and there the ones that are not even from the usa that's crazy. I was stereotyped and mistreated and that's unacceptable they just wanna take your money and kick you out then they don't even help or know their own job to help, totally unacceptable

I could not believe how quick the process was to get your birth certificate! The lady directing the line to the kiosks was helpful and not rude like most are in these government offices. Once I got my ticket the line to pick up the certificate was quick and short.

I’m not a computer person but got thru the kiosks after making a couple of inquiries. Thanks to a male employee that stepped in an gave me some help it went quickly after that. Took me 30 minuets because I went in the AM about 9: 45. Don’t ever be in a hurry trying to take care of business.

Seems like a complicated process but I was i was in and out about 20 mins. Go through security, stand on line for an available kiosk. Type in your info and pay at the kiosk (no cash accepted). You will get a ticket, stand on another line, give the ticket to the rep that will check Your ID, scan the barcode on the ticket and print your BC. It’s simple. Would have been faster if people actually knew how to use the kiosk And/or had valid identification. Best time to go is after noon.

Worst damn site I ever seen. Cant talk to real person on this number. Been waiting 4 weeks still no birth certificate out 90 dollar not thing yet.

Frustrating getting to the right site without being sent to Vitalchek which want to charge an outrages amount of money for a birth cerficate.

Went today 7 November (election day) website said today is open. Find it close with a security guard mentally ill

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS AGENCY A STAR IF I COULD. THEY ARE THE MOST ABOMINABLE BUNCH IN THE U. S. CORRUPT AND SUSPICIOUS. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE CHARACTERS. I BELIEVE THIS AGENCY NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO.

Enter at Lafayette for a birth certificate. Took 10 minutes thanks to the kiosks! It prints the ticket after you fill out your info then boom short copy birth certificate in your hands! Way faster than ordering it online. The online fee is like 9 bucks shipping then you have to wait. The fee in person is like 2.75 metro card money! You got that.well worth the trip.
