I hit a deer with my Tesla requiring front end work, replacement of the windshield and some work on both front doors. 6 weeks and $17k later I got my car back. We were very pleased with the repairs done. There were some gaps that appeared larger than they should, however, as any Tesla owner can attest, cars roll right off the assembly line with questionable gaps. So, the only gaps I can attribute to Coles is that the hood was depressed well below the front end contour. But, it took me all of 60 seconds to adjust the hood leveling bumpers inside the hood.

Overall, I think the car came back a little better than it was one I first took delivery!

I would give 5 stars if not for the customer service and communication. At first, there was a week’s delay because I was not sent a form to sign which I was told was needed before work could start. Status calls to me were a bit erratic. I was never given an estimated date for completion. Carwise is utilized by Cole’s but was never update except for the repair cost.

In my opinion, I think that anyone with a Tesla needing repair can feel confident with leaving your car with Cole’s.

Wow, I finally found a body shop that actually cares about their customers and their vehicle. Between James the estimator, and Rick the manager my vehicle was in and out before I knew it, with truck looking like new again, Nice to know I have a body shop for the future

I brought my Tesla to Colonie Coles Collision for some warranty issues. Ricky and Brandon were so professional and resolved my issues in no time. The “front” desk were helpful and polite. I highly recommend using this team and location.

My experience with the Coles staff was 100% positive. I am very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Coles Collision without hesitation. My initial impression was encouraging, friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. I appreciated the text updates and calls, prompt contact to my insurance company, Enterprise and the professionalism of all staff that I had contact with during the process. My car was completed within the projected timeframe and it looked great with the repairs completed and the bonus of it being washed, cleaned and looking like a new car out of the showroom! I need a few paint chips on my vehicle’s hood touched up. Ricky did an excellent job repairing the paint chips on the hood and did not charge me for the work that was done I recommend Coles Collision for paint and body work.

Warning! Go anywhere else. Go here for the quote because they are the most expensive and then use a local shop. I brought my 2018 Honda civic sport here, they had the car for over a month and it came back with more issues then when I dropped it off. I believe based on the damage the car was dropped from the lift. My father who is a mechanic in central NY, looked under this car before I dropped it off and now after. The damage underneath is new. Scratches all on my interior trim for the doors they were replacing. Also missing trim for that door. Terrible place to go.

Sloppy work, perform loads of unnecessary work, and are SLOW!
I took my very minor Tesla repair job to them because they were highly recommended, tesla authorized, and Allstate listed them as a partner shop. They took 5 weeks, replaced many parts that did not need replacing and charged $15,000 for a minor repair job. Adding insult to injury, they damaged my mudflaps, ripped out my Weather stripping, and didn’t glue it back into place, causing a lot of wind noise, cut and incorrectly, reinstalled my wheel wells, scratched my paint in other areas, and charged my insurance company a exorbitant amount. I am attaching a picture of the original damage so you can see for yourself and then photographs of all the damages they did after the repair. Not only did they take five weeks for a job that they promised me would take two weeks, but the blending of the paint on the door is so obvious and looks terrible. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and also my insurance company for fraud. The manager, Jeff, was very confrontational with me over the phone, and made up excuse after excuse blaming me for being unreasonable when I demanded my car back after five weeks. He actually said I should consider myself lucky that it was only taking five weeks instead of six months. Then i he went on to tell me that they are not affiliated with Allstate insurance company even though the only reason I brought my vehicle to them in the first place is because they are listed as a partner shop, and their work would be guaranteed for life of the car. However, they screwed up my vehicle so badly I would never bring anything back to them again. If you ever get a dent in your Tesla, do not bring it to this place. Find any place else that knows how to fix aluminum parts and let them do it. They will do a far better job and not break everything the way these people did.

My car spent 4 months here, which was not the center’s fault due to back ordered items. However, when I picked up the car the person who pulled it around front cut himself on glass when he turned the heat on because it was not cleaned properly. Glad I didn’t get in first. They also left the interior very dirty and did not finish cleaning my car. I doubt they would’ve left a $150k Range Rover in this condition. Body work and repairs were done well. Customer service and interior of the car upon pick up, pretty sub par.

Very poor workmanship. Scratches and dust in the paint. When mentioned to the manger I was told to get out in a very threatening way. I would never recommend this shop. It is almost too dangerous to go there. Dirty parts were in the seat of a brand new car unprotected.

Jeff and the entire team at Cole’s were nothing short of phenomenal. Constant updates on the status of my truck and Jeff explained the repairs in as much detail as I wanted. I was always treated as a priority and my repair was handled with urgency. I got my truck back in better shape than before the incident. Hopefully a repair shop is not somewhere you have to visit often but if you do, Cole’s should be your first and last stop. Thank you Jeff and team for the first class experience.

Just trying to get a 2nd opinion and estimate on my car, they said they can’t look at my car w/o an appointment and the next available appointment would be a month away while other body shops come right on out and give u an estimate in less than 30 minutes, so I guess if u want a shop that’s gonna take forever to get ur car back I’d go with these guys

Amazing! I went in for quote (which they gave me a very honest one) and for free they fixed some scratches on my car. Amazing stuff and amazing staff!

Went to see Ricky on Central Avenue. We have one estimate for 3000 for our Tesla 2021. It appeared that the car had been hit in parking lot. Ricky explained it was road tar and he removed it for free! Then that same day we were scratched over at Stuyvescent Plaza. Again Ricky took the scratch for free! I was Impressed by their honesty and helpfulness! Thank you!

Great service. Very organized. Keeps you up to date. They also helped me by getting my Tesla to the nearby service center. I'm very happy with them!

In August, my Model Y was crushed by a tree in my driveway. There was extensive damage to the frame, roof glass, windshield, headlights, and several side panels. Cole's kept me updated every step of the way and the car came back looking brand new. The inside was free of glass shards and had been fully detailed. You would also never know that there had been any damage or re-painting. 10/10!

Great customer service from the entire team. Jeff and Chris kept me updated at every step. The completion date I was given was the date my vehicle was ready. The repairs look great.

Very friendly and efficient. Took time to gather necessary facts to arrive at an estimate needed for an insurance claim. No "high pressure" sales pitch.

I called and spoke with Joe who has always been upfront and professional. He referred me to Jeff in the Colonie office. He was very helpful in his explanation of my choices. I had a scratch in the bumper and he told me to stop in. Once I got there Jeff came right out and looked at the scratch. He had the area buffed out immediately and had some touch up paint mixed up and they put it on the car as I waited. I was in and out of there in less than a half hour. I would highly recommend Cole's Collision.

The best! Great customer service, they keep you in the loop during the repair process. Fast work, and they work with aluminum cars (Tesla Model S and X, for instance) which is difficult work. Paint shop is amazing, I can't tell where their paint ends and the original paint begins. I tried under various lighting conditions and I just can't tell. It's amazing work. Just a great experience all around. I'd give them 10 out of 10.
