Compassion Veterinary Center - General Practice and Urgent Care, Highland NY

Staff is kind and caring. They obviously love animals. As a long time dog owner I have taken 5 of my dogs here over the years. I do wish follow up on results was a bit faster and more comprehensive. I love the new location, but they seem busier than normal, and it takes longer to get a call back. Recently had tests done and results given over the phone with little explanation.
I was confused and concerned about the results so wanted to speak with a vet about the results and plan for care. Following a few phone calls, emails, drop ins, I did get a call back from Dr Kraus a few days later. She kindly and thoroughly answered all my questions and we came up with a care plan and I'm more educated on "struvites" now. I strongly recommend all pet owners get a copy of lab/visit results, read through them, make a list of questions and schedule a call back once you have time to go over things. It's important to be educated in your pets care! Thank you Compassion and Dr Kraus for this scary experience turned positive.
