Costco Wholesale reviews
21Reasonable sale prices and quick check out for the store to be as crowded as it was! Downside is parking is horrible as it’s not enough space and the other driver’s aren’t considerate at all!
Wow. Sales were brisk. The place was packed. Lots of people shopping which to me is a good thing. Shows that we are heading back into a healthy economy. Nevertheless as for my experience at this Costco it was indeed a positive one. Got all that I needed and more for a very reasonable cost.
If you are driver and delivering to this costco avoid!
Two weeks ago i was 1 hr earlier prior to my appointment and they make me wait 3 hrs, today i was 30 min late due to late loading and bad traffic and spending a 30 min ringing the bell at receivers door and they still make me wait almost 4 hrs to offload
Rude receivers and dock personnel
Avoid!
You should avoid visiting this place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because it's crowded, and hard to find a parking space in this store on that day. About the products in Cosco, overall that great quality but short of series of each brand. About the bakery aisle, that is smell good! And good quality as well. You will love them all.
When shopping for 3 men with appetites, Costco's portions and prices are favorable.
However, not having the Kirkland brand nitrile gloves available to and for the public is unfair, which is why my the star rating is not a 5. While I understand the importance of protecting it's staff, Mr. Costco it's the shoppers that keep your doors open. Spread the wealth of glove protection by making them available to Costco members.
Very good quality and good value for money. Especially their meat, they may not be the cheapest but definitely good quality for what you are paying for.
I've been Costco member for a long time. Very good value for money. My local Costco is on 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. I'm very disappointed with that particular Costco. It's a very busy and chaotic site, especially the parking lot and availability of shopping cart. I had complaint to the cooperate office before but NOTHING had been changed. There were cars, especial gypsy car services parked, unattended, where clearly signed "NO PARKING" zone, blocking in front of the entrance, exit and side of the entrance to the parking lot. It's very dangerous to other drivers and particularly for peoples going in and out if the warehouse. I'm very disappointed that the Cooperate Office did not make the parking lot safer for us, the members. I've NEVER seen other Costco have the same issue.
Also, the place is so busy, during busy time, there were never enough shopping cart. People have to follow anyone who came out from shopping for their carts. That was so ridiculous. Can you imagine shopping at Costco without a shopping cart? I hope this post will let Costco representative know what's going on at this particular Costco on 3rd Ave. 39th Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Always have what I need but there need to be better crowd control. Since Signs and colors RULE society, Costco should have many signs and colors to control the crowd.
They have a wide variety of items. It's a great place to shop for bulk household items as well electronics, food, seasonal items and food. They also have a food court with really good prices. This place gets very busy on weekends and the parking lot is an absolute nightmare- the worst I've ever dealt with there are times when you will get stuck in a traffic jam for 10 mins while looking for a spot.
The biggest out of the 4 locations in the 5 borough area with products distributed in 2 floors. Access and speed to the cash registers could be improved.
There is everything you need including clothing plus a lot cheaper than anywhere else. However don't forget that to buy anything you need to have a membership. The workers are really helpful. A lot of sales
Costco in New York city is like a a mad house, that's why I gave it 4 four stars. Other than that the place had everything I wanted. I guess that's the price you pay for living in New York city.
This Costco is always busy but I have one thing to say the Manager Joseph is on the Floor always helping someone Customer service is his main power Workers are just as good
The least enjoyable Costco anywhere. Parking take 30 minutes, always over-crowded, workers do not organize the crowds so it is mayhem and people fight
Note: Parking is free, but for a less than pleasant experience.
From what I guess, free parking in this location created a domino effect of chaos. Free parking is attractive and that means this location is usually crowded at all times. Good luck finding a shopping cart at peak times because it's usually low in supply.that means you have to hunt done other customer for their cart after they finishing using it down to the second.
The food court is usually littered with food waste because of the influx of people. The aisle are too narrow for the amount of traffic this warehouse gets. If you can put up with the hordes of customers, then maybe this Costco location doesn't seem too bad of an experience.
Its definitely a good place to shop. BUT the people the people man.its terrible overcrowding no sence of direction and consistently crashing into you with karts
This Costco is always crazy. Can't really blame them for when some shopping days are chaotic.
The layout is different than most Costcos than I have been to.
This Costco is okay. Trying to find parking is like fighting a war. People will get really aggressive for a parking spot. Why doesn't Costco build up and create more parking?
By far the most awful Costco! Always packed, it's impossible to shop. Also is very Popular for the ultra orthodox, who go shopping with the whole family plus grandma & cousins, and they stare when anyone is wearing less than 4 layers of clothes and make you feel uncomfortable, specially in warmer weather. Store is well tended but is WAY TOO CROWDED all the time.
Recently went to this location when I was visiting NYC and bought crepes and cookies. I live in RI, which does not have a Costco. When I got home I realized I was overcharged on the number of crepes I had bought - I purchased three packets but was charged for 6. I live nowhere near a Costco, and going back to rectify this doesn't make sense. Extremely dissatisfied.
