I’ve been here 4 times, only because it’s closer to my home. Every time I’ve come I experience poor customer service. I would not recommend coming here. They said my glasses and they couldn’t find them. They also gave someone expired contacts. I have much to say but all I will say is I’d rather travel to the only on old country road, over there the customer service is amazing. They need to work on that more here.

It's impossible to get through to them on the phone. The only way we got an appointment for my son was because after days and days of calling and no answer, my husband went there in person. They gave him an attitude for going there in person but ultimately gave him an appointment. Now my son needs a small repair on his glasses and we are having the same issue. We have been calling for 3 days to see if we need an appointment to come in for a repair. Horrible customer service and for this reason we will be switching vision plans, to my employer, so we can avoid davis vision works.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I was trying to make an appointment for months, and finally made one over 2 months ago. I got the last appointment of the year today, (there were no other appointments at any other times). I got there 5 minutes late for my appointment and I paid for parking. The back entrance was closed, so I had to walk all the way around 3 stores (because its a strip mall) and by the time I got in the store the person who had walked in behind me was their next appointment. When I was checking in, it took 5 minutes for them to even talk to me to check me in, because there were only 2 people checking people in. There was one person who was there for I would have to say at least 20 minutes, and the other left over 5 minutes after I got in, which made me even later for my appointment. Then, they said that I was late for my appointment, and said that they were backed up, and would try to do the best they could. They were scheduling their appointments 20 minutes apart, which is not even close to enough time for a full eye exam appointment. They couldn't fit me in for the day, and wanted to reschedule me for next year, which is completely outrageous because I had this appointment for months, and just because I can't control traffic, they say I can't have my appointment, because of their scheduling issues. Maybe if they scheduled their appointments farther apart, they would be able to fit people who are late in. On top of turning me away, when I said I had this appointment for months, and I can't control traffic, and I'm not going to reschedule this appointment, the person who was trying to take care of the situation was extremely rude and said word-for-word "okay, bye. " I definitely don't recommend coming to this place unless you are okay with having to make an appointment so far in advance that you forget you even have the appointment and then have to reschedule if you're just a bit late

I scheduled an appointment 2 months in advance only to get there and the people to say I had not scheduled an appointment. Went to speak to a manager, rudely told me “ok, bye” I highly advise going to a different business.

Turned away after getting stuck in traffic! Despite the restrictions of the pandemic they are scheduling a doctor visit every 20 minutes. We arrived, paid for parking, walked all the way around the building, waited to be even acknowledged, only to be told we would have to reschedule because the next patient was already there AND they were running BEHIND. They had 2 people there up front and they made ignoring people and being short with people look like the standard! They have the store set up so people coming in bottleneck at the entrance and have to bunch up close together! As soon as I said no thank you we'll go somewhere else, the woman "helping us" (and others at the same time) turned and walked away. Not one apology. Not one offer to accommodate. We made this Appointment months ago and were told it was the last available for the year. Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service. Horrible compliance with COVID precautions.

I have been trying to call the store for over a week and no answer. Just the pre- recorded loop. Today at 9: 30am I get a message that the store is closed. What is going on?

This Davis Vision in RVC is absolutely the worst. They never call back. I've been desperately trying to get an appt on the list for 2 months since they told me they cant give me an appointment till NOVEMBER. I've explained countless times how I cant see thru my glasses anymore nor do I have contact lenses and nobody EVER calls me back. When you attempt to call you are on hold for an hour minimum. Does not matter what time you call. I really dont know how this place is in business or how corporate is satisfied with managemen. Do yourself a favor and find another vision center. This one SUCKS

Service was great when I finally got in touch with a sales associate, picked glasses, didn’t get fitted was told my name would be put on a list to call back and get fitted NO CALL. When I went to pick up glasses the sales associate (woman) was not nice. GABBY is a sweetie.

I recently spent 700$ on glasses during covid. Glass lenses came out and went in for service. I was told that I had to come back in in about 1/2 hour for a simple fix. The clerk blamed it on civil with short staffing. I asked if they sold the repair kit and was told no. I had to make 2 additional stops to find a kit. I will never buy another set of glasses from them.

The customer service I received here was great from the moment I walked in the door. I can’t believe what a great help Tymequa was to me. I recommend anyone going there sees her.

Not sure who the woman is with red hair and dark blue eye shadow but she is very rude! She was the one who showed me how to apply contact lenses and the whole time I felt rushed! She was very arrogant and gave me an attitude when I would ask her a question! She definitely did not act professional at all! Consider going somewhere else!

The general manager Gabriella and her staff at RVC are amazing I recommend that all should go there for all your eye care needs

I love the staff they accommodated me when I walked in right before closing on a Saturday afternoon. Even after I said I would come back they made sure I got what I needed for my son. I didn’t feel rushed and I was out in 25 mins. Best. TY

This was my first time and have called so many eye glassware stores in the area. I knew it was short notice but i really needed glasses. When I called Claudia was such a big help I didn't have an appointment and she help me, with fast service. I went here to get some much need glasses. Everyone in this office was so nice and helpful. Even the assistant manager Robin was very helpful. If you need glasses and want grate service this is the place to go. The parking lot help a lot in the back.

I booked my appointment online and arrived minutes before my scheduled 4: 30 appt. I entered through the back but it was my first time there so I asked an associate where am I suppose to go and she abruptly answers “The Front Desk” like I was an idiot! So I took a deep breath and walked over to the front desk. Now another associate tries to look me up and stated she doesn’t have my appointment in her computer. Thankfully I printed out my confirmation letter of my appointment and handed it to her in which she couldn’t deny my confirmation any further. So she says nevermind the computer she’ll put me in! Of course this was out in the open amongst other customers! Then she tells me to go to the back and start filling out paperwork. As I sat down to fill out the health questionnaire I was called by another lady to a BACK DESK in private. Only to be told once again that despite me having a printed copy of my confirmed appointment they don’t have me in their system and they already have a Family Of 4 that they already rescheduled to be seen and the Great Dr. Can’t stay longer after seeing them! So she then stated when Can I reschedule you? !
HOW RUDE!
I was so disgusted I grabbed my paperwork and exited the building!
It’s terrible that I live in Baldwin only minutes away from this Rockville Centre location but due to the rudeness and lack of professionalism I will drive out further to the Garden City or Levittown locations where hopefully I will be treated decently!
To be honest after that response I would NOT return to another Davis Vision store but due to my employment with Northwell I may have to! But I will check with Northwell first to see if there are any other options!
