DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York Times Square West

The staff was very nice but the hotel itself was not very clean. Our shower was leaking and there were flys in the bathroom. We were nervous about bed bugs and when we voiced our concern for this we were given a generic response about letting housekeeping know for the future but nothing real regarding our concern.

I especially loved the free freshly baked cookies they give out at the reception desk plus the staffs are very polite and helpful.

So far, we are having a great time at the DoubleTree Hotel off of 9th Street. We are in a room with two full beds, and although small, they have accommodated as well. The bar on the top floor is extraordinary, with great views of the entire city of New York. We have not eaten at the restaurant but I've been told it is fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that would like to be in the Midtown area.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had traveling. I haven’t even checked in and it’s impossible to talk to somebody at the front desk about my reservation. They always have an excuse or the manager is unavailable. I hate complaining personally but it’s frustrating not getting a legitimate answer.

Sink faucet was falling off, lamp shades were loose and wobbly. Water stains in the bathroom ceiling. The view was a fake wall erected as a permanent fixture in front of the hotel.

Great hotel in a good location. Small room, but very clean and it satisfied our needs as we are out in town all day. We could stay here again.

Great location and super convenient. Our room was super clean and the staff was really friendly. The convenience of the hotel is just incredible; you cannot beat being within walking distance from Time Square

Small Rooms but all modernised and well appointed. Friendly and accommodating reception folks.

Breakfast crew look like they are all on parole, eager at clearing table plates before you even finished. It's kinda funny at the same time, bust seriously, great crew.

The service was very friendly and quick. Although the room size was very small and almost claustrophobic. Other than the size the room is stylish and clean. The biggest downfall is hearing basically everything outside your door. It makes it seem much less private. I was woken up a few times by people talking out in the halls, you hear them like they're in your room.

Good customer service, coffee every morning, super great location blocks from time square.the only cons were small rooms & only valet parking that will add up at the end of your stay.

Cool place to have changed it a little since the opening last year the roof is on the new management which is actually very great.
