Empire Visionworks, East Greenbush NY

This eye center has horrible customer service. I had to call about a relative's glasses in mid-August and it took 8 tries and over an hour on hold to get through to a person. (Have to call now to even ask a question - they won't do it in person.)
Supposedly a replacement pair of glasses was going to be sent within 2 weeks and I was going to be texted. Well, it's been over a month and no text. Spent 3 tries and 45 minutes on hold today and no getting through. Missing glasses issue still unresolved.
Yet I called the Troy office for a different issue and got through to a person on first try!
The EG office definitely has problems.

EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist. Hung up on me TWICE because I asked to speak to manager or doctor about my eye. My family and I have gone there for years and we will not be returning. Unprofessional.

Rude as can be, stood at the register while the two employees just looked at the computer. Very unhelpful. Brought my 18 month old for glasses and they didnt have them, nor did they suggest where I could get them. Overall costumer service was horrible And I'll never return! The older women that works here has the worst attitude ever and that alone was enough.

Jessica who works in contacts was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were completely satisfied with our experience. We had a small concern at one point with our prescription, she brought Tim the manager in who was also very helpful at addressing it. I highly recommend the East Greenbush location. They are very talented and easy to work with.

I have been going to America's Best in the past 15 years. I changed this year. My experience with the East Greenbush office has been outstanding, the staff were here helpful and friendly and my glasses were the best that I've had in 15 years. Great job ever one, ill will be back. Thank you.

Went in for an exam and glasses for the first time. The staff was beyond helpful every step of the process especially in understanding my insurance coverage. Thanks for everything!

Went in for an eye exam on November 23rd. It is now December 20th and I still haven’t received my contacts. I called them multiple times & they tell me that the contacts are still not in yet. Seems like they ordered them from another planet! However, Dr. Singh was EXCELLENT but the problem here is the careless workers.

I got my glasses today, and I’m both far and near sighted. But I’m not able to see things clearly while wearing the glasses when I’m trying to read something? I also stated in the paperwork that I was both near and farsighted.

My wife and I changed to this location even though we live 4 minutes from the Central Ave location. We came here after not liking the doctor at the Central Ave location. My sister recommended this location and I’m glad she did. The whole experience was much better. I highly recommend this location.

The employees are nice & very helpful. Anytime I've had an issue with my glasses they were understanding & quick to fix it.

Terrible customer service. People answering the phones are rude. Asked to speak to a manager and she was very rude and didn’t care about their patients. I told them would take my business elsewhere and she just responded ok go ahead. They don’t deserve to be in business.

I have been going to this location for years. I now bring my children. My oldest son is very rough on his glasses, and I love the one year warranty. The staff is friendly, and I have had excellent service here. Keep up the good work!

I have been to three Visionworks locations in the Capital District and this one was the best, by far. On-time service, knowledgeable staff, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend going here for your eyeball needs!

I bought 2 pairs of glasses in early spring. They have an awesome selection of frames to choose from. I broke one pair a couple of weeks ago. I brought them back to see if they could be repaired not knowing there was a one year warranty on them provided by Visionworks when I purchased them. They ordered me a brand new pair at no charge!

It's been a week and I am still waiting for Tom one of the managers to call me back! Terrible service not to mention they give no copies of orders nor a copy of your receipt! Sad

Mark the General Manager is great. Highly recommend this place for glasses. They will take great care of you.

They have been promt and very accomidating as ive been through several lens replacements under warranty and a set of frames. Im rough on glasses i suppose. They have always taken care of me quickly and out the door. I deff reccomend this establishment, Manager is very friendly and personable

Been going to this store for about 3 years now. Much more professional than other one to the south.quality exam, knowledgeable staff, works to save you money with multiple insurances.
