Do not recommend. Have waited over 45 minutes just to pick up glasses. The staff is not friendly and they are very understaffed. Do not waste your time, because you’ll be waiting awhile.

Our visit was fantastic! The cleanliness and poise of the staff members was obvious from the moment we arrived. You could tell there was an emphasis on protecting the customers as we could see various employees cleaning and sanitizing along the way. It really established trust and appreciation. I was in to pick up glasses for my kids, and I honestly don't have the words to properly describe my gratitude. Every member of the staff that we encountered went above and beyond to be sure that we were treated well, that my kids weren't scared and were comfortable as they progressed (imagine getting three kids to be comfortable AND happy while dealing with eye issues), and that I was satisfied every step of the way. If I could give 10 stars, that wouldn't be enough. Thank you for putting a stressed and tired parent at ease. Your tireless work is clear, and it's truly remarkable.

And, forgive the intrusion, but I can't let it stand without response. I was there at the same time as a previous, negative review described. She certainly wasn't mistreated, and the staff made every attempt to meet her demands, assist her, and provide answers with kindness. Maybe, just maybe, Merci could show some mercy.and honesty. The staff recommended Eyemart to see that she was treated more quickly, as she made it well known that every second was an inconvenience. To be frank, I don't understand the anger. She was very upset, and that's understandable. But it was clear that would not be relieved regardless of the superhuman levels the staff attempted while trying to relieve her concern. I'm so very disappointed to see such blatant misrepresentation of a fantastic group of people.

Had a very good experience. Kelly explained all the possible lens options and I'm happy with the final product. The only minor thing is the blue blocker not very strong. My non-perscription blue blocker only glasses block it much better. So on the computer wear both.

The optometrist is great. But stay away from this place during Covid because they run very far behind and can only hold a certain number of people indoors. Even if you’re coming for a pickup, you may get stuck a very long time.

The service at this location is always friendly, the staff is helpful and patient. They even remember our names which gives the whole experience a small town feel. Very highly recommend!

Wonderful experience! Glinda was so patient with me because there are so many frames to choose from. Dr. Bonnani was very thorough and kind.

Dr Cahill is wonderful, she remembers my sons and I from year after year. She is through and kind.
Glenda has always been wonderful to work with, she is calm and knowledgeable. She has watched my sons grow. We look forward to getting our eye exams and to see the wonderful staff.

This is the best location. I live in Watervliet, NY and I have a Vision Works right up the road in Latham, NY. But everytime i try to make an appt. Its months out. So i was able to get an appt. In the Slingerlands, NY location. Its my new Location. I will always take the 25min drive to this location. The staff is fantastic.

Horrible customer service. A lot of the staff is not helpful at all. The wait time here is extremely long and this facility is under staffed. They have no idea what is going on. The only staff member that is wonderful is Sharron and Bethany. They both understand a true meaning of customer service.

This place is awesome! My glasses came in, in under a week. Karen and Fred were so helpful and personable. Highly recommend

This place is great! A huge selection of glasses that always leaving me wanting more (seriously, I always find multiple pairs that I want and look great). All of the staff are so friendly (always laughing), and really know how to help. In my last visit, they caught that my insurance didn't seem to pull up right, and fixed the problem which saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend - which is what I tell all of my friends.:)

If you are just going for an eye exam - it’s a fine place to go. The optometrist is great. However if you need glasses be prepare to wait a while. I have been here way over an hour so far (50 minutes of just waiting and counting), I am currently waiting for my consult for glasses. They don’t seem overly busy? I will not be back. I have been to other places (other visionworks) that just are faster/ more efficient.

Karen was amazig. Very helpful with two repairs and she kept me laughing the whole time! Best experience yet at VW!

This place is the worst glasses play I’ve ever been too. I sat in the waiting room for an hour after I had gotten my prescription from the doctor while all the desk people stood around. Once I was helped 2 of them told me different price allowances and they had no idea what was and wasn’t cover by insurance. This place is a sorry excuse for a vison works.

Fred and Sharon are wonderful. They spent close to 3 hours with me helping me pick out glasses and contacts. I have a strange prescription and a low and narrow nose bridge which causes issues. They helped me pick out frames and lenses that would work with my insurance plan and respected that I had to stay within the insurance limit due to my limited budget. It was worth the drive to Slingerlands!

I’m very mad. I called in advance before going there to make sure the take my insurance, I get there, find frames I really love on my face, and then I go to order and they say they don’t take my insurance. Beyond mad, frames are very hard to find for me, if they didn’t take my insurance I don’t know why they would tell me they did before I wasted my time going all the way here for it to be a lie.

Went to Visionworks to get a new pair of glasses, Dr. Bonani was very thorough and patient. Micheala helped me pick out a great pair of frames and Glinda helped me to get two pairs of glasses for a great price!

I would highly recommend this location.

Everyone was very pleasant! Katrina and Fred made sure I retained my eye exam appointment even though I was late arriving. Bethany was super helpful in helping me choose a frame, even despite the fact that she had laryngitis! Glinda helped make the rest of my visit a great experience!
