Ferrara Bakery & Cafe reviews
27We came in to get canolli. Service was quick, but we had to wait for the fresh canolli to be brought to the front. We also got a box of dark chocolates. Very pleasant atmosphere. Next time will definitely try some gelato!
A great place to find some food and sweet treats! They have ice cream, coffee, and if course pastries! It's by all the major food and shopping areas in little Italy and has some unique choices for cuisine. Great place!
F eeling low? Come here now!
E nergy here will lift you up
R ealistically it's filled with tourists
R ock climbing through them
A drift in the sea of goodies
R ainbow cookies, tiramisu, NY cheesecake, cannoli
A nything is possible
Most heavenly slice of cake I’ve ever had.
Their cheesecake is also phenomenal, and should be enjoyed by anyone that can appreciate quality cheesecake.
They have gelato, cake, and many other bakery goods. Dine in for a quality sit down experience to give your feet a rest, or take it to go and show off to the rest of the city that you have some of the best desert in NYC.
Absolutely phenomenal. No, stop-if you're looking at various places for an Italian bakery, go here-trust me.
We were visiting NY and of course I wanted some Italian bakery goods, so I was looking just like your are now.
I was ready to be disappointed, even with great reviews. We have visited Boston's North End many a time and tried every pastry place there. There is no contest-everything from here was absolutely incredible. The crust was perfect, the filling was ample, and most of all we loved the flavor and appreciated the sweetness level, which was not overdone.
We gobbled them up before snapping a pic, sorry, not sorry.
You have a sweet tooth.this is the place for you. The gelato is superb. The pastries fantastic. Unfortunately the prices are a little high.
Delicious gelato. Almost finished it in line before even paying for it. A little pricey, but quick service for the most part.
We originally were going to go to Pepe Russo Social for lunch but opted to try this place and we were not disappointed. The pizza was some of the best pizza I had while in New York, the pantone French toast didnt even need syrup the bread was sweet enough and the sampler trio is a must get if you want to try some of their pastries.
I bought an ice cream and some sweets and I sat for a moment. Just for the ice cream not to melt over my clothes. A waiter came and ask me to leave the place in a very rude way. Even that it was no one at the tables, it was 11pm. Because I wouldn't do it immediately he offer me to escort me on my way out.telling me in Spanish to leave. They are not just rude, they are racist too.
Really awesome! Waiter was great too. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary & they had the place decorated for valentines day so gave it a romantic setting as well. The desserts are so yummy! I had these coconut cookies with icecream & unsweet tea & my husband had carrot cake with icecream & beer. Our total bill was $42.
We have been visiting this bakery for over 20 years, but with a twist. We only come once every 5 to 10 years. Every time their baked goods are delicious and fresh.
The gelato stand out front needs some work as some of the flavors such as hazel nut taste like they melted and then refroze making them have a lot of crunchy ice in them - more like a slushee than gelato.
Great bakery with a warm vintage vibe. It is located in the beautiful Little Italy and is not a far walk from any restaurant in the area. Their pastries are excellent especially the cannoli. The place has a little bit of history to it as well which is always interesting. Ferrara Bakery is definitely on my go to list when I visit NYC.
Best sfogliatelle I have ever tasted! Ques can get long for the service counter and if you are sitting in be prepared to wait even longer.
Great famous Italian bakery that's been around for a long time. Get a cannoli and it will make you happy.
Tiramisu to-go us awful. Should be removed as a search result for authentic tiramisu. I even asked the host of the sit down version to go is better.i was willing to pay extra.
Dessert was delicious, drinks were great, friendly service. Only wish it wasn't as expensive, though you can't expect anything cheaper for NYC.
Had coffee, tiramisu, and a canoli. All were amazing (although the tiramisu was stored a little too cold as some of the icing / coffee was a bit crystallized). But the service was very helpful and friendly, the coffee was great, and the restaurant has the feel of an older, well-established NY location. I'll definitely go back!
A must visit bakery especially if you are visiting Chinatown or Little Italy. All deserts were great - Cakes, pastries, cannoli etc etc. One of the best canolis in NYC. Everything is good about this place except the server at the cash counter, she was rude and arrogant
Everything is good, except for their espresso, so if you are Italian and are in the area and crave that quick shot of caffeine, don't expect to get it there. I don't know what grains they use and they don't know how to make a real ristretto, too bad!
SO good! Great bakery treats at a pretty decent price. The line was long, but we didn't have to wait long. We tried many different items and each of them were excellent. Couldn't recommend more.
