26One of the coolest gorge trails in upstate NY. Camping is simple, trails and bathrooms are well maintained, and the nice wide flat gorge trail is beautiful. It's worth the drive from Ithaca or Syracuse.
What a great state park, a bit smaller campgrounds, but very nice camping. The hikes are awesome, a but challenge right in beginning, but rewarding after that!
Great facilities at the park. Clean modern bathrooms, places to fill water bottles. Nice hike, we'll kept trail. Only negative was the part of the trail that is currently closed.
Amazing waterfall and trails into the woods, lovely bridges and cool stone stacks (I made.) Great for swimming and family time.
Still get charged $7.00 on a weekend. Picnic tables and benches are curved and not comfortable to sit on. Grill pieces are missing. Spent all the money on the pavilion, which turned out very nice. They need smaller shelters in the park and keep maintaining to get $7 a carload.
Beautiful scenery.nice staff. Road is typical of New York. Needs replacing- better to walk the gorge than drive to the top.
