Repetitive, boring, nothing I’d recommend honestly. The workers sometimes acted like they didn’t care, snacks and activities were just done in slightly different ways again and again, and was overall not a learning experience in any real way. Sure it’s cheap, but so is teaching your kid to take care of yourself. And how do I know? Because I went here too.

A great place to just get in your zone and work out. They play pretty good music and the staff is really friendly.

I feel that joining the flushing Y is the best decision I’ve ever made. All of the staff even the cleaning staff are nice. Going to a gym with equipment that has touch screens to watch TV or listen to music means a lot instead of going to a place that plays annoying music. And I like the wide selection of equipment. People for the most part are considerate and do not stay on a machine for hours and hours on end. It is a peaceful workout experience. The bathrooms in the weight room and in the locker rooms are nice and clean. There are a lot of lockers available. Small, Medium, or big. I love the sauna and steam room in the locker rooms. The pools are nice and clean. They have an awesome app that lets you store and save membership cards on your smart phone so you can open up the app and scan your phone as opposed to bringing your actual card and risk loosing it. The app also has program schedules, class times, pool hours, and hours the gym is open. Classes and instructors are great. I haven’t worked with one of the Y’s personal. Trainers so cannot speak about that. And I can’t speak to how the hotel there is either. Can anyone please tell me if and when the food stand next to the women’s and girls locker room will be opening back up? I don’t understand why they’d take that away I mean it was so convenient. If I was hungry in the middle of my workout, I could run there and grab a snack then be on my merry way. Not a big enough deal for me to take away one star though. When I go I just make sure I take water and a ready to drink protein shake so I’m fine. But I’d. Like to see that reopen again. Over all I love the Flushing Y.

Super friendly staff. The gym facilities are spread across three floors. The interior is old but definitely adequate for workout.

Swim meet at the YMCA was decent. The lane sensors would have been helpful if it worked accurately for every lane.

Really used to like this place. Was a member for years. Only drawback is they decided to do away with the racquet ball court. That and you need to pay for parking.

My child was there all summer July-August 2018 and learnt how to swim during camp days. Recommend it to everyone. Enjoyable experience for summer

I booked a room through one of the hotel booking sites. The place was clean with friendly staff.
The only thing I didn’t know is that the washrooms and showers are common, for like every few rooms. Of course men’s and women’s separate.

The only good thing about this Hotel or Hostel is the somewhat lower price. But when they are done charging you the "destination fee" and the "parking fee", you could have gone to a better place.

The director who oversees the hotel is extremely rude and defiant. I just relocated and needed some assistance in getting more information about any housing resources that he may know of and he literally ignored responding to me and told the receptionist that he ain't got no time to talk to nobody. He didn't even speak as though he cared to schedule a time to help me out.

The gym is well equipped and the group exercise classes are really good. If you have time in the mornings take Angela’s classes they are one of the best. And if you want to challenge your body more, take Samantha and Jonathan’s classes. Am sure the other instructors are good too but I’ve only worked out with the ones I’ve mentioned.

Helped a friend stay there for the night but the rooms are small and pricey. But greated it's cheaper than other places and felt secure. I just wish the elevator worked carring luggage up the stairs was crazy.

This is a " Y " that has it all!
A Olympic size swimming pool, sauna, full size gym, cardio room with up - dated equipment, weight room and other fun daily activities.
Join and participate at this recreation center, you won't regret it!

Not the Ritz, obviously, but you'll get probably the most bang for your buck in all of New York. Clean rooms, close to public transport, good neighborhood, friendly staff, free Wi-Fi.
