Have been trying to get nexplanon for 5 months and they’ve been running me in circles. First they didn’t give me the right paperwork and didn’t even call me to tell me. I called in a month when the implant should’ve arrived and they had never even ordered it. Then, each time I called to find out the status of it I was either lied to saying it was being overnighted or that the pharmacy was still processing my insurance. I told them multiple times I don’t have a problem going somewhere else and trying if there’s a back order or something but please let me know because I’m not on any bc at the moment and am suffering serious menstrual pains yet they assured month after month I would receive it to no avail. So basically I’ve been in pain and off birth control for no reason because they don’t know how to do their job or care enough to update their clients. Stay away from this place, they don’t even deserve one star.

Staff is very nice and professional. Dr. Kim is knowledgeable and thorough. Highly recommended.

Everyone was very kind and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. From the nurses to Kim herself, were very professional and asked all the right questions.

The cleanliness was also very impressive but my biggest thing is customer service for me and not once did I feel like I was waiting forever lol.

Thank you Garden OB/GYN NYC I definitely plan on going back for my annual check up!

The office itself is beautiful and makes you feel super comfortable. Front desk is helpful and fast/efficient. Dr. Kim is a great doctor and is very thorough

Highly recommend Dr. Kim. Clean office, welcoming and nice medical assistants & reception staff, and comfortable office. I'm looking forward to visiting Dr. Kim next time.

Can never get in touch with patient care desk to confirm/reschedule/cancel appointment, end up being on hold for over 20 minute every time. Completely ridiculous when trying to make an appointment

From Day 1, my 1st encounter with Dr. Kim was simply amazing! I travel from Connecticut to Nyc because of her quality of service. She won me over by listening, unlike most doctors, they think that they know it all but Dr. Kim listens, then gives her opinion and helps you make the best decision for you. I’ll recommend her anyday to anyone!

Very disappointing experience - the office didn't let me know of the lab result and missed the timing to take meds. I personally do not recommend this office.

I’m usually very critical of offices because I’ve had some past bad experiences with others. I have to say that I have nothing but positive feedback from my first time appointment. The front desk ladies are so friendly and welcoming, immediately felt like I was a long time client. The check in process was literally five minutes and I was seen by someone within a minute, even though I was 10 minutes late.

I was seen by Elizabeth who took her time with me and explained the process of laser hair removal. She was very attentive and answered all of my questions. She made sure I felt comfortable and offered me many options surrounding my schedule. I also got COVID and blood testing done that day, and the staff was incredible with making sure I was comfortable because I’m usually very afraid of needles.

Overall I’m very pleased!

I gave this practice many chances despite my reservations after my first appointment because it was easier than starting over with a new doctor. But this practice seems very odd to me.
First off, they seem very disorganized and lacking of communication. I had to ask for an update after my initial appointment before my results were sent to me, and instead of using the messaging portal for questions as all other practices I’ve been to before have done, they made me come in for a follow up. Then I had to schedule another appointment for a procedure, another for a follow up with the PA for results, and then a consult with the actual doctor, who gave me an opposite opinion. Too many appointments, especially considering the wait times which I know other reviews have touched on.
As for the communication issue, I was not told when I was supposed to go to a different office so I showed up to the wrong one. I went to the other office and when checking in I was called up and the receptionist said zero words to me and just handed me an iPad to check myself in. At the end of that there was a bill I didn’t know about that had been issued the day before and I was expected to pay up front, and they had no response to me when I asked “and if I didn’t have an appointment you wouldn’t be paid today anyway so why am I paying this right now”. Additionally, a very important piece of my historical information was left out after I told several people along the way, (I have never seen the same person twice).
Not sure if the amount of appointments is some way for them to make money, but they seem to follow old guidelines for the frequency of a screening which adds to the amount of appointments required, they ask for urine sample even when just visiting for a consultation which you/insurance then get billed for to test, and then the amount of visits aforementioned that could be phone calls/message portal use.

Had to wait an hour to see a nurse, then another 30 minutes sitting in the exam room with no one even checking in, never even met the doctor I made the appointment with. Offices were filthy with dirt and hair on the floor, and everything about the place made me want to run. Avoid this practice at all costs.

Originally I had an appointment with the facility located in East 63rd street. Horrible! I had an appointment for a birth control removal scheduled for weeks in which when I get there for appointment and they tell me they don’t do removals. Not only did they waste my time but also money in Uber. So I was sent to this location.

First let me start by saying the girls working in the front are amazing! They were extremely helpful. Crystal was amazing! She explained everything answered all my questions and didn’t rush while doing her job. The facility is extremely clean. Everyone is friendly. The removal of my birth control was fast and easy. The doctor was super sweet and informative. If you guys have to visit a Garden OB GYN I recommend this one.

This place is unbelievable. They canceled my appointment from Zocdoc 3 times and told me to make an appointment through their website.
That was annoying but I made one since I need to see obgyn ASAP. I got there on time and had been waiting, they called me and said my appointment has been canceled by mistake. So come next day or so. What the ****! They should have called me or texted me before I got there. This morning they even sent me a confirmation text for my appointment!

It seems like canceling appointments on their own happen quite often here. Later I found similar reviews on canceling appointments.

Also, the doctor I booked is not even there any more, but they posted the doctor is available on their website. Why they lie? ! I can’t trust these people.

I am so upset. Such a waste of my time.

Scheduled an appointment through Zocdoc because I had debilitating abdominal pain. I confirmed the appointment through the app, over text, and on the phone.at 7: 45pm the night before my 8: 00am appointment they left me a voicemail saying that they had to cancel my appointment. When I called back, the woman on the phone was not very polite or accommodating. She offered me a 2: 45pm slot - I made my appointment for 8am on a Saturday - but when I couldn't informed me that they had just overbooked and I could have my original slot. This just seems like an awful way to treat patients, especially as I was coming in due to extreme pain, which was listed on all the forms I had previously submitted. Ended up having to have emergency surgery; I just wish they had been able to help so it did not have to get to that point.

We are very unhappy with the service we have received. It has caused us frustration, physical pain and emotional distress. We are expecting our first baby and we were looking forward to finding a professional clinic that would provide good service.

We were hoping that place would be GardenOBGYN. Unfortunately, we that has been far from wrong and it’s been a great disappointment.

I am writing a review not because I just want to complaint about the wait time, appointment schedule difficulties or anything like that. I do not state that earlier mentioned reasons are not important but they are bearable and understandable.
I want to write this review and just bring it to attention of the doctors and working personnel at their facility and potential future patients. Because I believe my case is not acceptable at all when we are talking about person's health.
When I called to schedule the appointment I have been asked of the reason and I detailly explained what is it and why I need to see a doctor. I specifically stated what exactly I am concerned about and what other tests I recently had and there is no need in them (or at least that I know the results and there is no concern for me).
When I was right at my appointment, the frond-desk lady asked me again the reason of the visit and I gave the exact same answer. When the first nurse was asking me questions while doing my blood pressure I gave her the same reason I was there. When the doctor came - I repeated one more time and explained my concerns again. I was taking some lab tests and the doctor said she will prescribe me some medication that is usually used for concerns like mine, but as soon as she receives the lab work she will prescribe me the medication I need.
Three weeks later there is still no prescription. I called them and after waiting for a while I received an answer "oh, well the doctor performed a different test and a blood work and based on those tests you are fine". I mean, what? I know, I took those test a few months before visiting you guys and informed about it so many times while constantly repeating what my concerns are and for what issues I need a treatment.
The person on the phone was polite but could not give me a better answer and was just repeating herself so there was no solution for me at all.
I was very frustrated. First, it takes half of your day to come to the appointment (to come, to register, to wait, to do the examinations, to wait the doctors answers), then you/your insurance pays for the visit, and then you are getting dumped by the people whose primarily duties are to cure the patients. Moreover, you are losing your time because you think that you will be prescribed a needed treatment and it comes out that you waited for nothing and your concerns might've gotten even worse.
Once again, this review has nothing to do with some minor complaints or difficulties, rather it was written in hope that the patients concerns would be listed to carefully and the solution would be advised respectively.

Find another OBGYN! Coming for an appointment at the Garden Obgyn on 51st and other locations in the city is awful! They highly overbook, do you will end up waiting 1 hour to 2.5 hours just to enter the room, than another 30 min for the doctor to come in and check you out for 5 min. Every time I’ve been here they have about 10-16 people in the waiting room. The management really needs to think about this horrible scheduling system they have in place. I even talked to one of the doctors, she said it’s horrible for them because they don’t even have time to rest or eat or properly see a patient because they are in such a rush to see 5 patients in 30 min.
