Garden OB/GYN NYC Midtown West 51st Street

Getting your test results is like pulling teeth. I’ve been waiting a week for my results, my prescriptions were never prescribed, and I’ve called twice now.
No one has contacted me.
The office was uncomfortable for the fact that I didn’t expect so many ads for plastic surgery and injections at my obgyn office. Feel like that combination is a little off.

Well it’s no surprise that I couldn’t get in contact with the office for two weeks, but my 1 Star review gets an Immediate response.
I contacted the office again today.
Turns out dr. Kim forgot to test me for the entire reason I went in to see the doctor. I went in for one specific test. She tested me for everything else. But forgot. Forgot to test me for the reason for my visit.
I was told dr. Kim would call me before 9: 45am. Nothing. Called at 10: 30. I was told I’d get a call back within 30 minutes.
No one has called me in the last 5 hours.
They asked if I could come in today, but I’m in so much pain I can’t walk.
They were supposed to send out multiple prescriptions for me, but they never came through to my pharmacy.
Two of the prescriptions were for endo medication and pain management, which I was supposed to have right now so I wouldn’t have to be in as much pain as I have been in for three days.
I waited on hold for 10 minutes all for them to hang up on me.
I’m beyond Infuriated. Im irate. This office doesn’t care about their patients. Only about their reviews, vanity, and profit.

I might as well add that while I was there, with my legs still In stirrups, the door was opened. I was covered in ultra sound gel, with nothing to clean myself off with.
Embarrassing, anxiety inducing, and generally unprofessional.

Update: January 28th
I’m still dealing with bills for tests results I never received. I called to have my sonogram images forwarded to my new OBGYN.they forwarded everything EXCEPT for the images.
Thanks guys. It’s been 3 months since my appointment and somehow I’m still being screwed over.

The office is clean and the staff is very friendly and thorough. I was really comfortable there and it was my first visit. The only criticism I have is the amount of text and email reminders the office sends - I got 4 reminders the day of my visit. In any case, they care! I've already recommended the office to a colleague.

Heed the poor reviews.first off waited more than an hour to be taken into an exam room (even when I came early!). Then after changing I sat to wait for the doctor which was an eternity.gave up after 30 min and asked a nurse outside if I could see a doctor. Don't really think that is an insane request when you ARE AT A DOCTOR'S OFFICE. They couldn't even find my chart which is laughable because it is meant to be outside the patient room. And I walked out shortly thereafter

Moral of the story: avoid this place even if the late appointment times are appealing. Based on other review, sounds like this place is run by NPs so I guess you get what you pay for right

Garden OB GYN: I dare you to try and bill me for this sham of this appointment. Get your act together
