Good Fortune Supermarket reviews
27 Ample parking.
Wide variety of vegetables, seafood and meats.
You could buy cooked food all the way in the back area as well.
Very convenient local Asian supermarket in Elmhurst. Best part is the roast pork and spare ribs you can purchase by the pound. In addition they made delicious dim sum Don't leave without purchasing the egg custard tart, and steam beef noodle or you will regret it. Very convenient parking lot or street parking onsite. Staff are quick and efficient.
Wet floors, crowded aisles, fruits and vegetables seemed to be tossed into bins. Meat selections limited and not as fresh looking as other Chinese supermarkets in the area.
Nice place to buy Asian foods, especially Chinese food. What I like it the food court in front of the market, wide varieties of freshly cook food.
There are two entrances, in the parking lot and the front entrance where prepared food is sold.lines move quickly. Do try to make your own hotpot if your interested the sliced meats are in front to the butcher.
This place is wonderful, fresh fish and seafood, so much variety. They have a large selection of fruits and vegetables. I really like this place, definitely recommend.
Great Chinese BBQ selections at a reasonable price. Vegetables and seafood are average quality and price. Not as crowed as other markets on Broadway in Elmhurst but much more convenient in parking.
They rebranded and is under new ownership. They now offer a wider variety of groceries and other ethnic foods. However they still cannot compete with Sky Foods next door. They also do not stick to their closing time. I came here two weeks ago when they are supposed to close at 9pm. But when I arrived at 8: 30 pm, the gates and doors were closed. They should change their closing times if they’re going to close early.
There's a restaurant at the back of this and I suggest don't go there to eat. The servers are rude and even if you get in line for your turn, they will ignore you and focus on chinese people who cut in line. If you get their attention, they would act like they don't understand english.
Another incident, I was eating dinner with a friend but this one guy decided to clean the ceiling while we are still eating. So he stood up on the other table with shoes on, then cleaned like we weren't near him. Dust fell on our food. It was disgusting!
I mainly get fish from this market. This market is great. For all Asain cuisines from many different Soy sauces to fresh fish, meats.everything. They also have a eat Chinese restaurant in the back but you can get in through the front from Queens Blvd. Great store!
As you can see from my name I'm Spanish and experienced shopper. I have no trouble shopping there. Nobody bothered me or followed me, treated me like a costume, and sell the best Asian food money can buy. You can find any thing where canal st don't have. Highly recommend to anyone who likes buying Asian food.
Nice location ample parking. A lot of fresh seafood as well as a variety of meats (Beef, Pork, Chicken) all with the Asian Flair. Fresh fruit and vegetables Asian style. Also many varieties of imported Asian products including rice cooking oils. Also carry American Products. Truly an Asian Supermarket. Reasonably priced products.
Always a great fish market just make sure you go there and you know what you want I thought they were rude the workers there but I figure it out it's just a language barrier and they like to do their jobs and they're very quick so if you know what you want you will have no problem.
Good Fortune is an Asian market with a mostly Chinese clientele. It has a huge produce section up front which is quite extensive, a fresh fish market, butcher and a very large grocery in the back. On the Queens Blvd side there is a Chinese take out counter as well. Almost anything Chinese to cook can be found here as well as specialty Korean and Japanese grocery too. The prices are excellent and choices are incomparable. Everything is very fresh and again extensive choices await you!
Fresh seafood and meat. Everything is at a good price. Large variation of produce, but sometimes it does not have the best quality
Always get specific products from here. Salmon is the best.their frozen seaweed is pretty awesome.sometimes they will have deals on small avocados 6 for $2.great budget friendly greens.
Not all of all but some iteams are quality less. I bought a gallon of whole milk and try to make coffee but a more than a glass of milk is born out
Stop by Today for hot food from the food court located in front of store, Queens Blvd entrance. Free parking in rear on 51 Ave. Hot coffee, baked goods, and hot food.
Excellent array of all kinds of Asian groceries. I've always found what I'm looking for. Incredible produce quality. Lines move fast.
If you're into Asian cuisine, this is s good place to buy supplies. They have live fish and crustaceans in tanks
