2743 years lived here and the 1st time I had to use it. Quick pot stop, bathroom was clean but crowded with a ton of dudes who look like they were working, so, I got out quick. The 5 stars are for the clean bathrooms
Every stop on the NY Thruway is the same, a travel mart, a coffee shop, a Burger Place, and one other food place. One of the food places is open 24 hours. The bathrooms are regularly cleaned throughout the day.

At the gunderland plaza I had ANOTHER incorrect McDonald's order with ANOTHER batch of cold McDonald's fries.
About what I'd expect at a NYS Thruway rest area. They really need to update the WiFi instruction posters. It's 2017. If someone is still using IE6 and gets a security warning, the correct solution is to immediately wipe the laptop hard drive with a strong magnet. It hasn't been secure in years.
Gas was a little bit higher than rest of the stations I passed on Thruway. Fairly clean restrooms
Always stop here for bathroom break and to top off the gas tank. Last service plaza on 90 before we get on 87.
Pretty clean but out dated. Had a McDonald's, pizza place, and a few other things including a Mobil. Only accessable to eastbound traffic.
