About a year ago, I went to HearingLife in Bayside, NY for a new hearing aid. I was met with Sharon, a well educated hearing aid rep. She discussed the many options and prices with me and tested my hearing ability. I have been wearing hearing aids for about 10 years and was aware of what was on the market. My preference in the past and now was Phonak, due to the sound quality. Sharon quoted me a price of $8,000 for a set of the Audeo Marvel 90, the latest and best model available. I was not in a huge hurry to buy and I'm very glad I waited.

Last fall, Costco came out with their new Kirkland Signature 9.0 Hearing Aid which is very similar to the Audeo Marvel 90, using batteries. It is made by Phonak (now Sonova) specifically for Costco. The price: $1,499.99 for the pair. Super price, superb product with a 2 year warranty for defects and replacements. Cannot beat it! - HearingLife is far too expensive.

Nice place very clean staff is very caring and talk you through your test results. I highly recommend this place. They are really concerned about your health and very knowledge able about the results they explain everything to you and recommend you to the right doctors for follow up or more testing that needs to be done to confirm their results.the best place to go I highly recommend this place

The staff are very professional, information is given in order not overloaded. Cassandra is such an inviting presence, and Dr. Samantha Hartnett is well prepared, she's detailed with her instructions, and takes her time with the demos. It's all with a smile on her face that shows interest in her patient.

My husband and I were so pleased with the service we received from Dr. Freed and his staff! Adjectives that come to mind are: professional, courteous, caring, well informed and patient!
The staff spent a great deal of time with us and we never felt rushed. Very positive experience. Highly recommended!

I have been wearing hearing aids for over 40 years now and going to Hearing Help for about the last 20 years. There is no other place I would even consider going to for help with my hearing and hearing aids. Not only is Dr Hal Freed the best I have found but his office staff, from the women at the front desk to the technicians, the most knowledgable and helpful any audiologist could hope to have. Dr Freed as well as his entire staff are always available and happy to help me with any issue that may come up. My hearing is very important to me and they all have shown me it's just as important to them. If i could give 10 stars I would.

My mom has had great service from the staff and Dr. Freed. He is very helpful and concerned that she could hear perfectly. He cleaned her hearing aids and showed her under the magnifying glass how he did it. Told her to come back every week if she had too. They are always happy to help. Dr. Freed is very warm and welcoming. I recommend him to all my neighbors, friends and family.

Dr. Freed and staff have been helping me with my hearing problems for 4 years. I always have a great experience with him, he is knowledgable, accommodating and pleasant. Dr. Freed was very helpful in getting the proper hearing aids for my husband. He worked in construction for many years. When it was time to file for his compensation case Dr Freed was very cooperative in following the directions we were given. His office staff are very courteous and telephone calls from them or by the doctor himself was a nice change from having to chase him. Once again, thank you for all your help.

Been taking Mom there for a few years and I have never met a more professional group of people! They are kind, patient, professional and are amazing audiologists. Every single person in that office is absolutely wonderful and they always make sure my Mom is completely satisfied before she leaves. She always leaves with a smile on her face!

Last I have problem with hearing aid one side the wire was broken. I was call in they tell me stop by and dropoff it may take a few day to wait they call me to pickup. I was stop by and dropoff on time I meet Dr. Freed he say wait a minute let me take a look and fix right away. I was so happy I have hearing aids to use. So I was thanking very much to Dr. Freed he help me a lot.

Dr. Freed is an amazing doctor, we have been seeing him for a while now. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor, he takes the time to get to know his patients. Dr. Freed treats my dad like family, all our questions are always answered. I always leave his office feeling like my dad's concerns are always addressed. Thank you Dr Freed for giving my dad back his quality of life. Another great appointment with Dr. Freed. We were in and out all our concerns were addressed. Great office, great staff.

Staff is crude, rude and unprofessional. This office is a pre-school not a professional medical office. You do not open 20 min late and then tell a patient that the hours changed without advising your patients.

Dr. Freed is one of a kind. He genuinely goes above and beyond, and you can tell it is because he actually cares. I’ve been taking my grandpa on his doctors appointments and this is the one appointment both him and I look forward to. The team is very friendly and the doctor is kind and knowledgeable. Thank you Dr Freed and team for going the extra step and making others feel like they matter. As a team you all are gems. Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year!

I am grateful for his support, patience and knowledge. I recently purchased the Oticon hearing aids that Dr. Freed recommended. I must admit, I was on the fence about getting a new pair. I am so happy I did. This is only my second pair of hearings aids I have purchased. I liked my first pair (Widex brand) but this new pair is life changing for me. The blue tooth capability is amazing. I no longer need to put my cell phone on speaker to hear a call since the voice goes directly into the aid. I also love listening to music this way. I am now able to hear the voice with ease on a land phone call at work. I work in a noisy environment. Dr. Freed worked with diligence to assure that I would be able to hear when receiving calls at work on the land phone.
I was new to hearing aids when I bought my first pair a few years ago. Purchasing hearing aids for the first time was not easy for a multitude of reasons. Dr. Freed made this process so much easier with his patience, support and technical ability in adjusting the hearing aids.

Great location. Dr. Freed and the entire staff members are amazing, they were able to accommodate all of my needs in order to help treat my hearing loss. They all practiced great customer service and payed close attention to detail when it came to consulting me on the right hearing aids.

Very nervous going in but the wait time wasn't bad and the staff was great! Will definitely recommend!

State of the art heading aides and we've been coming once a month since we got them and they still can't get them to quell for more than a day. Paid over 7000.00 and it's all garbage. Only saw the doctor one time. And that was when he sold us this garbage!
