Staff has been pleasant and polite and this review may not be fair because it was things out of their control but I am still very displeased that no effort has been made in terms of restitution of funds that I've had to pay because of car issues.

Let me be more specific. First, a car was promised to me in February. I had the same car deal offered to me in Manhattan (I live in Manhattan so that location would be much better for me) but they promised me better service since I knew them. Fine. The car was delayed until March. Fine, then they said April, then they said they don't know for sure when the car will come. I finally settled on a different car (350 instead of 450) and paid about 2k less for an engine that is not as good. I think the price should have been less but the car had all these options I didn't want.

Now, i got a car I'm not totally happy with but at least I have a car. I've had this car less than THREE WEEKS. I have less than 100 TOTAL miles on it and the car has an issue already where I had to have road side assistance pick it up and take it to the dealership. I'm not spending money to take ubers back and forth to work which is exactly what I didn't want to do because there's a pandemic and my wife is pregnant! This is why I bought a car in the first place!

Now, none of this is possible the dealership's fault but I'll tell you this. I bought the car from helms bros because they promised me service. For over 70K I expected exceptional service. When they were trying to sell me a car the salesman responded to a text within half an hour. Now? I'm calling and leaving messages and texts and waiting HOURS for them to respond to tell me what's going on with my BRAND NEW car!

Has anyone offered to pay for my lyft rides? The coolant I paid to fill the car up with that ended up not working? Bring the car to me so I wouldn't have to spend more money on lyfts? Nope. Everything is on me. Somehow I'm required now to spend money on car services and risk my pregnant wife's health because the brand new car they sold me is defective.

Overall l found the service fair; unfortunately my opinion has shifted towards my experience being more on the disappointed side since within the last few months, l have had to bring my car in for service twice and l am about to make another appointment basically for the same thing.lve spent $3000 in repairs thus far to not have the initial issue corrected

We had a great experience at Helms Brothers! Dom assisted us and made purchasing a car a great and easy experience! I highly recommend heading over there and visiting Dom if you are in the market for a car and great service. He was extremely friendly, outgoing, and very helpful.

Me and my father in law bought two GLE 350s here and the Mercedes I got was a complete disaster. Bought it about 4-5 months ago and the check engine light came on 2-3x already and I made an appointment to helms bro’s 2 other times for the sensors going off for no reason when nothing is around the car. I will definitely not be getting another Mercedes after this one is done luckily I’ve got warrant but the car has only 37,000 miles and just getting it 4-5 months ago I’m at the service center frequently. It’s embarrassing and the brand should be ashamed of themselves this is considered top “German brand”

Great place. I took my 1st mercedes benz from here. This one is the second time. Mr. Jeffery and Mr. Paul was trying to make it more comfortable with the transaction. They made the process smooth, informative and helpful.

Nice staff but not a good experience purchasing a vehicle for my wife. Poor communication and service on follow up and expectations should of been better. Messed up our paperwork as well.

Not good overall but they are nice people. I don't want to be placed on hold for over 10 minutes when we have a customer sat issue and they did not even know my wife was on site to get the ore-owned car fixed at the service station kept telling me she left not accurate she was there for over 2 hours. Only Dennis listened and resolved with the correct communication. Again nice staff.

On Feb. 13th, I dropped my car off for the ai bag recall correction. This was the 3rd time I had contacted Helms Bros.since I was told before they did not have the parts. A week later the air bag malfunction sign came up again. I made an appointment to have it checked and at the same same time to change the oil (B1service).
I picked up the car at the end of the day and noticed the odometer indicating 140.5 miles. I called the service coordinator the next day and was told they do drive the car to make sure the software works fine and the message does not appear again. I was really surprised to hear they drove the car that long. Should I be informed before or after? Has anyone gone through this?

I live in Florida and will continue servicing my car at Helms Mercedes. My last experience with Helms was almost disastrous, however their manager, service advisor and other staff members immediately made a concerted effort to rectify my concerns. They earned my 5 star rating.

I leased a brand new 2020 suv glc300 It makes the loudest noise due to the fan from the computer system that you have to put the radio on full blast so you don’t hear this loud noise. I brought the suv back to Mercedes and left it with their parts department for over a week. I was told this is a normal sound and they won’t give me a different car or suv
The wonderful woman sales lady who was so nice turned out to be the worst I have ever dealt with Her name is Andrea so beware of her charm.

This is Bayside Mercedes on Northern blvd in NY
Don’t be deceived because the sound starts after you drive for over a half an hour
I’ve already spoke with customer service and they couldn’t do anything for me so now I’m stuck with a loud noise everyday in my brand new suv

If I could give no stars, I would. You cannot reach a person on the phone when dialing the number. In fact, when you choose an option to talk to someone, you are looped back in to choose someone to talk to, and eventually you are hung up on. This is unacceptable for an organization that is reputed to be a service-oriented organization.

Liked a car in Helms Bros Dealership.from the internet, called and scheduled a store visit with Manny Rodrigues. Pleased, to do business with him, great personality and knowledge, all professional. Drove out of the dealership with that same car I liked. What better than that in a matter of few hours.

This is my 4th GLE400 leased car from Helms Brothers. My contact person is Michael Nekava. He is extremely professional and very helpful pointing out several options I could choose from. Every time, Mike worked out with me from choosing color of the car to lease package options. Also the new service department is great and staff are very professional. So my experience with Helms Brothers staff are very enjoyable

This is my 1st experience with Helms Bros since I just purchase my first Mercedes. The moment I walked in I was treated like royalty. Maurice was deligent, super professional and just delightful. Having had a superb experience the first time around, when I required a replacement vehicle only a year later, Mr. Jeff Stampler was professional, understanding and made the entire process seamlessly easy. Mr Rhee was wonderful and so helpful as well. I will be coming back to Helms Bros without question!
