Hertz, New York NY

At the last minute on Memorial Day I needed to rent a car. Fortunately the Hertz location on E 48th was open. I received great service from Nikeisha. She was very helpful and easy to work with. Got me a discounted rate too! Car had just been returned so it was still dripping from being washed, but was clean. A very positive experience.

The car was fine. Easy to drive. Each everything was easy. The only 'complaint' is the person in new york who handled things was not particularly friendly and as I never drove a Malibu before and fresh vary from car to car it would have been nice if someone had gone over them with me. But I have used herein by and will again and was satisfied otherwise.

I normally love Hertz. We are Hertz Gold and rent 4x a month from various car rental agencies but mostly Hertz. This location is so incompetent, slow and most importantly incredibly rude. I rarely write a negative review but this staff is so mean I had to share the information.

Don't understand why all the 1 star ratings. Picked up a reservation and was handled extremely professionally by Melissa and Francis. They are an awesome team. The return was a little slow and confusing (no real order). Overall, I had a great experience at this location.

I booked my car on the internet. Great service both when I came to pick it out and also returning it. I got childseat and GPS and the people were very helpful. I will definitely return to this office if I need to rent a car.

45 minute wait time at best regardless of the reservation time. Unprofessional service and very hostile emplyees.

Just completely horrible service and customer care. Young girl working the checkout on Sunday mornings was the most useless and rude customer service employee I've ever encountered. Never again. Overcharged and no way to get refund. Go elsewhere

Really rude people working there. Acting like they are doing you a favor renting you a car. Never experienced anything like it.
