Came to HVRA for an MRI and a CT scan of my lower back. Everyone was extremely friendly and explained everything to me succinctly and answered every question I had clearly. I have used HRVA before and recommend them highly. They are my first choice for imaging tests.

I didn’t have any appointment, came as a walk-in.
I have been welcomed quickly and with professionalism.
In 25mn everything was done: registration and x-ray.
It couldn’t have been better!

I was in a lot of pain from a fall earlier in the day and the MRI technician was so compassionate and helpful and kind it made my experience less traumatic.

The experience at HVRA was one of the worst experiences of my life. My husband and I were sent to the facility for a fetal neuro MRI. We are expecting our 3 rd baby. We have seen MFM since the beginning and ultrasounds revealed concerns for our child’s brain development- the next step is a fetal neuro MRI to “get a closer look” at exactly what is going on. After the MRI, fetal echo and ultrasound we are given a “consult” by the radiologist. This “consult” was by far saddest example of professionalism and medical practice I have even seen. The radiologist did not shake our hands for fear of “flu” (I am an Oncology RN for 12 years now and soon to be FNP) - please have the decency to shake your patients hands- just practice good hand hygiene. He then proceeded to tell us our baby had a diagnosis we expected “Microcephaly” - and when my husband (who does not have a medical background) asked a question concerning the potential for growth the words and I quote “ this brain is so screwed up” was the explaination we received. I tried very hard to keep composure - but I am still an expecting mother and the sheer lack of empathy and medical professionalism was shocking. “This brain is so screwed up” could have and should have been stated in a different way. We were not shown any images, no possible prognosis was given, no further real explaination of what can be seen, or done, or what this means.if you are giving a “consult” these are things that should be addressed. With all do respect- I suggest dictating your report behind a closed door and sending the information to true MFM MDs who can address the situation with the delicacy it deserves and professionalism you lack. Please think twice about how you address your patients and the challenges they may face.

The facility is clean and the general staff very nice and helpful. The sonography and MRI technicians- very very nice.

Very courteous and attentive staff and made the MRI procedure easy for my granddaughter.
I would recommend MRI if Westchester to anyone who needs imaging or radiology services

My technician was great and very quick once I got in but the wait was just unacceptable. You can’t give an appointment time and have the audacity to ask a patient to come in 15 minutes earlier if you’re going to then have them wait an hour. I had two other doctors appointments scheduled for after that I had to cancel and pay late cancellation fees for just because you treat appointment times as a loose suggestion.

This office is amazing the receptionist is the best excellent customer service which you dont find that here in NY and the staff is very professional. Very organized they even send you a text to remind you of the appointment.

Hudson Valley Radiology made getting my annual breast exam painless.
