HVAirsoft, Carmel Hamlet NY

Went there 8/2/2020.
The referees were very partial to their friends, who were the HPA users and they managed to turn up the air to hit the other players harder. I got hit in the cheek and arms so hard one of them lodged in and had to be pulled out.

The referees are quick to discipline the other players but not their own friends. Leading us to believe they are very very very unfair and unprofessional. We had to yell 7 to 8 times before the referee called out the other team for blind firing.
The speedsofters will not call their hits at all and insist we were hit.
I myself was out in the open firing at this one player who would not call his hit. It was about the 15th time I shot him was when he called his hit.

Unprofessional refereeing, no spot checks, no hit calling, Cheaters a plenty. The chrono was done half assedly without assuring what the FPS was.

I am requesting the owner to please contact me asap

Great Staff, really friendly, you might find that rare cheater here and there but other than that its a great place, just make sure you can take a hit or two

The indoor field may be small but it’s very well laid out and the scenario games they run through the building are very fun
The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable abt Airsoft

Staff and people are very nice and treat me like family. Love there map setup very much and I have so many good memories there and I enjoy every minute of airsoft even if we aren’t playing I meet new people when I go. And I always have a positive attitude towards staff and people there I always come in with a smile on my face and ready to play. Im not that type of person that try’s to get into fights with people or argue with people about who hit who and things like that. I highly recommend u try out this airsoft place;)

Really Nice! We had a fun time, had some problems with the guns in the beginning but everything was good, the staff let me see some guns, Definitely recommend it!
Only thing is, it takes a little too long for games to start
but other than that its good!

Go there all the time it is good fun. Lots of different types of games. Good community, lots of knowledge there too.

This was all of our first field, and we can say it’s the best field we went to. Many people complain about teens who work there, i think that’s bs since the entire staff has great work ethic and they treat us like family. But the only problem we have with the place is the tape on the ground and the constant fallbacks being called.
Also one more thing, I’m seeing a lot of people complaining about chase’s kit, it’s called an impression kit for people who never tried milsim

This is honestly my favorite airsoft place but please I beg you remove the tape from the ground so I can spawn sweep please. And I would really recommend this field for new players. It is great I love it there all the refs are very nice and it is a very good place to go with friends. I would really recommend it. And thank you guys for not having a Bang Bang rule it is basically who can say it faster I love this field and would recommend it to others.

Hva airsoft is the best airsoft experience I’ve ever had from the great map setups to the friendly refs and players. One of the refs even lent me a part from his personal gun when my gun wasn’t working. They are very nice people and just a great experience all around. They treat everyone like family. I would definitely recommend Hva airsoft to anyone.:)

I love going to HV because the almost all the refs are amazing and pretty much everyone follows the rules, except the kids in the green flannel, because they are friends with one of the refs (the only bad one in my opinion) they get away with cheating

I haven’t gone their yet lol, but I’m really trying to go soon.how much do rental guns cost? Like what’s the average price? And is there an age limit?

Fantastic staff and community. If you hate speed softers like I do, come around 6 when they're all tuckered out like a long day at 6 flags.

I was playing one day when I shot a cheater so I told the referee and he did nothing so later when I was playing I was cornered by the cheaters friends and they attacked and beat me severely and nothing was done to them f@&k this place do not go here

Would have given 6 stars if I could - this place is fantastic! Will come back as often as I can; price is definitely reasonable.

This place is so much fun!

I went for the first time when I was in the area and had so much fun that I bring my friends all the way from Jersey to play as often as I can. The staff was extremely accommodating and patient with my friends who had never played before.

I highly recommend this facility for new players and experienced players.

My kids went here. They came home with bloddy welts. One of them went through his wire mesh face mask.
This place is not safe. I will not bring my kids here again.
Zulu24 is much safer and a more friendly atmosphere!

Played here numerous times, some of the staff was great, the others had an attitude. Guns were never chronographed, and there are tons of people who shoot point blank. This place is a joke. They also need to regulate HPA guns more, kids are basically shooting full auto. There is also a group of kids that all wear matching plaid shirts that never call their hits. It seems that those who are regular players at this place can follow their own rules, this has been a problem.

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE! This is a horrible place to play airsoft. The refs are completely useless, they don't enforce the rules when it comes to their buddys who have their HPA guns turned all the way up. The refs just sit on the catwalks on their phone and don't do their job. If you actually complain to the refs about the other people cheating running hot guns/ over shooting they kick YOU out. Speed limit is 350 fps, but some how the other teams guns broke 2 plexi glass scope protectors, 1 scope, 2 flashlights, and ANSI rated Oakley ballistic goggles. I would give it 0 stars if i could. A dozen or so buddys from work all got together to give this place a go after frequenting Zulu 24, but thought we'd give this place a shot. Worst $20 spent period, save your money and go to Zulu 24, its a great place to go, were people follow the rules and have fun working together.

Since Mitch left HVA has not been the same. Kids run the store and field. HVA is nothing like it was when they were located in New Windsor. Zulu is the place the place to go. They have expanded substantially and is light years ahead of HVA. It's a free for all. If I could give 0 stars I would without hesitation, expect to pay at least 50% mark up on cost of items in store. Zulu, Zulu, Zulu.

I’ve been going here for the past year and I love it. It’s a great place to get supplies for your needs and to enjoy some good rounds of airsoft with your friends.
