JackRabbit - Union Square, New York NY

Took my 20 minutes to get help with shoes, one of the people helping couldn't multitask because she was maintaining an extended phonecall that seemed unrelated to the business at hand. The staff is generally u professional and I haven't found expertise there to help with shoe decisions.

Great selection of running shoes carrying also less "common" brands like "on".

I was really happy with my experience at JackRabbit Union Square. The store assistant (I believe her name was Saionara) was super friendly, helpful and patient enough to do a full gait analysis even though the store was about to close. Great value for the money and a full recommendation from my side!

Was advised at Nike to go to this store for specific running shoes needs and was met by a rude employee who scoffed when I asked about a specific model and then when I asked to try another model in my size he said they didn't have it and turned and walked away without even giving me the chance (let alone asking himself) if I wanted to try another size. I left and will resort to buying online in another store. Terrible experience really.

Visited during my lunch hour on a Wednesday to get fitted for a pair of running shoes. The store was completely empty and I was helped right away. The girl helping me had me run on a treadmill for 30 seconds in a neutral pair of shoes so we could see how I run and figure out what shoes would be best for me. After that, she picked out 4 pairs of shoes to try and 2 different types of insoles. All in all, it was a great experience and I walked out with new shoes and insoles for less money than I expected! Will definitely go back in the future.

This store is usually very busy so it may take a while to be helped by the staff. The selection seems good, but they do not carry sizes smaller than 7, which is a little ridiculous.
