Pakistani Restaurant Kababish reviews
36Low price typical Pakistani BBQ taste. Specially we are going to queens from Brooklyn for dinner. No place to sit in but we enjoy a lot in car. Mr Asif is very cooperative. Thanks
The food is served hot, fresh, and fairly quick! You can never go wrong with their chicken kabab roll
Very nice to see a restaurant that is bold enough to keep authentic taste and spices at a time when everyone wants to mellow it down And get commercialized
Very professional team, it’s amazing team work
That’s why they are fast.
I like the goala kabab.
Warning: Spicy
My go to order: Chicken kabab naan roll, veggie samosa, and a chai. Other foods are good too, but I think they do those items the best. Great spot for late night. Very limited seating, so best for takeout if you don't mind cramped quarters or standing.
I used to like the food. But recently the service and the food both I missed. I feel sad now to think about the food that was so delicious & tasty.
They have no prices advertized for the buffet except for one sign. Thinking that each buffet was not going to be more than 6.99, it turns out that two meat dishes from the buffet trays and one naan bread came to 22.50! Then the lady forgot to include my rice and oh yes no receipt. Maybe good for people who have been here before and know how not to get ripped off. Newcomers, you better watch out!
They need to be easy on spices and put a lot of work to keep clean. They have unique taste but service is not good!
Chicken briyani is very tasty. Chicken seekh kababs are outstanding, you can order with roll also, means they will wrap chicken seekh kabab in butter naan and salad, and it taste good.
I wish i could give a negative star. They'll never maintain a queue. No matter what, they'll skip orders and accomodate some other person THEY know. Last week, i was there and ordered paratha and goat curry. They told me paratha would take some time and I was ok with that. 25+ mins of waiting and they still didn't start preparing my order whereas several other people THEY knew well came and ordered paratha way after me and somehow they got the thing but I never got it even though I was waiting for so long! When I asked, the elderly lady replied rudely that I'll get the food when it's ready! Not that those other guys ordered over phone or something. They literally ordered standing right there! Moreover, they kept messing up almost everyone's orders. Looks like they don't wanna pay any heed to us customers. Avoid this place. Really bad service.
True to their name, the kebabs at his place are off the hook. The kebabs are always made fresh but if you think they are not, just ask them to make them fresh for you. Very nice people, and helpful. The only only down side is that the place is super small therefore the food is always to go. They are open late into early morning, that's always a plus in case you have a kebab craving late in the night.
Limited accommodation for dinning, smaller operation, however make up for, with good service and the true value of food for the money you spent.
Food is delicious, but the guy who deals the customer and does packing at night always keep eating “Gutka “ or Paan, owner should guide him, it’s completely unhygienic.
Very bad service and people who work here always have nasty attitude.
People PLZ check your food before u leave they serve raw chicken n lamb and then when u go back and tell them they make u seem like u r crazy
Management should look into this matter
Best Pakistani food in NYC. Specially for people from Karachi. Very different from the Lahori style that all other restaurants serve. Take out only though.
Kababish was my favorite place to order chicken biryani until the last time I ordered. The guy who serve the customers skip turns as per his convenience, which is bearable but not a nice thing. But, last time I ordered chicken biryani and it turn out to be a complete turn off for me. I opened my pack and find 3 neck pieces and one little boneless meat in my Biryani I was so upset that I wanted to go back to the place and show it to the guy with the cap, but I live far from JH and now I am not going back to the place nor recommending to my known people. They are now biased and inconsiderate people.
