Kim's Nail Spa, Queens NY

I went here last week for the first time to get a manicure and was thoroughly impressed with the professional service I received. The nail stylist who began my manicure shaped my nails to perfection unlike any other stylist I have been to before. I had another stylist put on the color and her technique was precise and left my nails shiny and fresh looking for a week. This manicure lasted through heavy workouts, constant showers, and sweat. When I was leaving the shop I forgot to check the nail color. Both stylists help me find it and I was very grateful. I highly recommend this salon. Be sure to make an appointment in advance though.

I got my nails done and within one week 3 broke completely off, one of those the very next day.

They do not do acrylic well at all they should not even advertise that they have that service.

The lady also sliced my finger just above the cuticle constantly until it bled.

A huge waste of money

They refused me service an hour before they closed for a simple regular manicure and my friend received a mediocre manicure that didn’t even last three days before. Waste of time and money

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever been too. I got my eyebrows done here and Frieda threaded my eyebrows off and now they look so thin. I will never ever come to this place again. Disgusting

I had man/pedi and an excellent facial by Sunny!
She is fantastic esthetitian.
She knows how to pamper with great service and wonderful customers service Must try European facial!

I got my acrylics done here just because it was close to campus and will never again. $65. The paint job wasn't even nicely done. Three broke off within the first five days (doing simple every day tasks) very close to my skin and was extremely painful. Went to remove the poorly done acrylics after a little over a week (half of them were already broken at this point) and they charged me $ FIFTEEN and it was the most painful experience. I would stay far away from this place. Don't recommend.

I called about 2 1/2 hours before they closed to ask about pricing and set an appointment for 30 minutes later. They told me it would be $40 for acrylic tips and an extra $6 for gel polish. Steal right? I come in and say the same thing and they confirm. I sit and wait for a lady to finish come to find out she only does gel nails not acrylic. She said it would be $2 more. Okay. Then I ask what my total would be. I’m thinking $48 but she says $68. What? She said that gel polish is an extra $26 not $6. She said the lady didn’t understand me. I said it twice to her! They were also super rude when I said I wanted long nails and clear nails. Who are you to judge how I want my nails? The icing on the cake was when she got upset I left a $3 tip when I really wanted to leave nothing. Damn this place. Don’t go at all. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

I go to this place often, and it’s always welcoming staff, it’s clean, and they really do a great and professional job! Thank you guys for your service! Xoxo

Came here through a recommendation and despite the reviews, I actually enjoyed my service- it was calm and relaxing. I know its covid times but pedicure had to be done. They use pedicure liners and they perform waterless manicures which I appreciate anyways because I don't really want to share the community bowls. T
It also seemedjke they just got new pedicure chairs which is a plus!

This place was absolutely horrible.my nails literally fall off each time and i went three times in a matter of 5 days.unbelievable! Please close down.

Please do not go.i got my nail Saturday and it fell off Wednesday. Went back for it to be fix and took a shower that night and the " gel polish FELL OFF" A HOT MESS SMH EXPENSIVE AND it doesn't last at.all

Been going there for years love the nail specialist but ever since owner changed they never on time and don’t treat there customers with respect so done with that place

I come here any chance I get at least once a week before going out. As a guy it may be weird, but I know that girls like a clean cut man, or at least the girls I date do. Great customer service that comes with excellent nail work.

This place is amazing- clean, thorough and reasonably priced. I’ve been going for years and unless I’m out of town I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Large, clean, Professional space and service offering a large variety of beauty services. Never had a problem with a manicure or pedicure and got a decent backrub recently.

I have been coming to Kim’s spa for many years. Frieda is THE BEST; very sweet, caring and competent in all the services that she provides. The salon is very clean, orderly and provides many services. I find that most of the staff is welcoming, eager to accommodate and competent.

So I finally decided too write a review. Place is nice, looks clean. Over priced. I did call ahead of time, because I told him I am very picky and want them to do an amazing job. I usually get my nails done in the spring and summer only. I go to many different nail salons when I need too. The Asian woman with curly hair isn’t that great, the two Russian woman are amazing! They do a great job and usually work by appointment only. Unfortunately, the once in a while, when desperate because they are open late, I do go to them. Just be more out spoken on what you need done.

I had a gel manicure and pedicure with one of the ladies and she was very rough and rushing. I was so disgusted by her service that i contemplated not leaving a tip, which is normally not my style; but feeling bad about it i decided to leave her 3 dollars. This lady had the NERVE to discuss what happened with the other workers which had everyone staring at me like i was a circus clown.of course they were not speaking English! As i started to leave the salon this woman walked over to me & handed me back the $3 & told me she didn't want it & that i should give it to someone else! The woman behind the front desk who appeared to be one of the managers said NOTHING! I turned to the manager & said "don't you think that was rude? ! " She proceeded to tell me that the minimum tip is 15% of the service! I ALWAYS tip depending on the service! I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism! What if $3 was all i had & i decided to Give it to her? They have some nerve! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE! TRUST ME!

HORRIBLE! I got a powder gel manicure for $37.00 plus a five dollar tip.three days later everything started chipping off.i called to ask if i can come in for a new set the lady who answers the phone said "there is nothing we can do for all we know you could've taken them off yourself" and was basically told to go do what i gotta do if i wanna write a review about them. NEVER AGAIN! The receptionist is just extremely rude.
